I would assume he's got a concession ticket and wants to swap so he can get in on an adult ticket.

At one point last Saturday I stopped following the ball and watched what the Saints back four were doing. They were superb. You could almost draw a straight line between the four of them at times, and they moved up as a unit. Which is down to really hard work on the training field. Then I compared it to the shambles of a back four playing for England last night. Saints work hard and have a plan. Couldn't see much of a plan for England last night.

Thought Lallana did OK, showed good touches, and may get another go. Jay R didn't really get into the game. Defence was shocking. Clyne and Shaw are better than both the full backs on show tonight. Joe Hart may be having a wobble but Forster's distribution is terrible.

As a coach, Hoddle was as good as anyone. His organisation of the England team v Argentina in 98 after Beckham was sent off was extraordinary. The way he got Saints playing in the year that he was with us was excellent. Beattie as a central striker, with two wide men. Not that different in formation from how most teams play now. As a man-manager he was a disaster. When he left Saints, all he needed to be was honest, and explain why he wanted to go to Spurs. Instead he was underhand and dishonest. There were stories coming out of the Saints how he was upsetting everyone, and his treatment of MLT is well known. He is arrogant and unbelievably self-unaware. I was among those who did not want him back in 2003.

Think he should be the new club logo tbh. Screw 125 years of history. a big Tunisian man is what we need to portray the right image to the world

Admitted I got that wrong whilst supporting Saints!

What kwsaint junior did not mention was that his 5th birthday party coincided with the last game at the Dell. I did what felt like the right thing at the time and passed on my ticket to a friend. So never actually saw MLTs goal live. Needless to say I have never let him forget it.

NCs ambition for Champions League football not looking so silly now. Feet on the ground time. Got to just keep going and not get carried away. We are a bit good at the moment. Is it just me or are we all starting to lose it?
-
Believe it or not, I was 5 when we moved to SMS so never experienced the saints playing at the Dell. Which got me wondering, what was it like to watch football there?

I believe this has a close second though considering there were more votes: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?36237-Leeds-v-Saints-MotM&highlight=leeds+saints

I can believe this ngl. It's always the realistic people who are the most unpopular politicians.

Are you ill. You're being sensible today

Thought our ref was pretty good. In the whole 90 mins he only got a couple of decision (imo) wrong. Penalty was definitely a penalty. Nothing really major went wrong for him. Well done Mr Dowd.

Have to say that I'm very impressed this year with the discipline of the squad. In the league we've received 12 yellow cards over the course of 11 games. This is about 1.1 a game. Don't know about you but I think that's a pretty good record. One booking today.

Comes across as a genuinely nice bloke. Felt the same way about Martinez. Would love Hull to stay up this year. Think they deserve it since there are plenty more worse teams in the PL than Hull.

BT Sport to show Champions League and Europa League football from 2015

Agree with this. -
We all know how good Shaw, Ward-Prowse and Chambers are. We hear lots of references to others who are making good progress. Who else can we expect to see make it to the first team squad in the next couple of years?

MP will have learnt a bit tonight about which players he will want to keep for next season. Can't see Ramirez, Lee, Fox being around. Not sure Kelvin will either.
-
None of them. I think that we will finish 7th or 8th this season. Which will still be an amazing achievement. However, if we keep all our players, then I think that top 6 is achievable next season. We haven't played any of the 'big 6' at home yet. Can't imagine that they are looking forward to it that much given our current form.

We were more at fault for being arrogant during the second League 1 season when we were going well and clearly not going to be in the league for much longer. This season it's more realistic. We have a very good team, that will only get better, and we are enjoying it. Don't think that it is arrogance. We have a healthy pride in the club and the way that it is currently being run. I think almost everyone has bought into the style of play and the philosophy in developing young players.

Is anyone actually interested in this game? Give the players a rest and put out the reserves again. Much rather have the three points on Saturday. Would like a decent run in the FA Cup though. All the premier league teams put out weakened sides in the league cup, especially those in the Champions League. Which completely devalues it. My view is make the League cup an U21 cup, with maybe three over age players. Make it more interesting

Beattie in the 2002-03 season would have fitted the system really well. Strachan said the best way to play Beattie was to get him really fit and get him hassling defenders. Not sure that he would have fitted in the current dressing room very well though - too full of himself
