I think that it was 324 on ceefax. Might have been 125 on teletext

Yeah signed the petition. Would hope common sense would prevail over this. A stadium in Coventry that isn't being used and a club in Coventry that travels over 30 miles to play. Hmmm

Chances are Man Utd lose tbh

Agreed. Can't see Fulham surviving. Heard on the radio that Norwich have a tough run in. Just checked. Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal as the last four games.

Was just wondering whether there is anybody thinking of taking it up again? I enjoyed it when it was on last time and think it's a good idea, especially with the special guests.

Nah I prefer this thread

What do you do in your day when you're not starting threads on Saints Web?

Really enjoyable day out. Were better in the first half, although Fulham had the best chances and a couple of fantastic saves from Boruc. Second half was all Saints, especially as Cork replaced the out of form Wanyama. Three excellent goals. Was sat in the neutral area behind the goal. It wasn't neutral - was full of Saints fans. Only pity is that I don't think that we will be going back there next year. Which is a pity as it is a great place to watch football, and Fulham fans are very friendly, if a little quiet. Spoke to a couple of Fulham supporters on the tube and they didn't hold out much hope.

Should be a cracking game as everyone's said. 4000+ Saints fans should do something to the performance (even though it is very good already). I feel the Yoshi thing is literally because he's the worst defender on the pitch so every says it's his fault. If he was in, say, Stoke's team he would be insane. Give him a chance I say.

To be fair to the referees, there's so much analysis and debate on every decision that they're bound to get some wrong when it happens live. They can't rewind time. 30 years ago they'd be one or two camera in the stadium and you'd never get the analysis you have nowadays. On the other hand, I just don't think the referees are fit enough and the fact they can't be held responsible for bad decisions just makes the game worse. Clattenburg being an example. Says what he wants and gets cleared because the refereeing body molly cuddle him.

Clearly Barry knows something that no-one else does. I mean two points is HUGE. Like it would seem impossible to drop two points nowadays. And we'll be certain to win the league cup against Man City. Aren't they in the championship or something? I'd definitely swap, in a heartbeat.

Cheers mate. Went on a bender to get rid of my pessimism.

I know he stated that he wouldn't but it's the one area that bugs me at the moment. NC leaving hasn't had the drastic effect some people were saying it would but I think if MP left then the squad would collapse. So the question, will he stay in the summer?

With a performance like that, who can stand in our way

Thought Gallagher looked pretty good. He's 18 and playing in the PL. Give him a couple of years and think how good he'll be.

Isn't a beliebherr what Justin Bieber's fans are called?

Looked the part today and took his goal well. Almost had a second. Hope he gets the game time to develop

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere. There were a number of players out today that were expected to be in the squad. Boruc Fonte - presumably recovering from Osvaldo incident and was on the bench Wanyama - when is he due back? Lambert - ? Lovren - whats the latest? Any ideas?

your imagination bewilders me.

On another subject... best goal scored by a defender?

Gareth Bale's first goal for Saints vs Derby on the opening day of the season in 2006. Only his second full game. Couldn't quite work out why they were letting him take the free kick and then found out why
