Yesterday, we had 19 minutes added time including 13 minutes at the end of the second half. I don’t think I’ve ever seen as much added on.

Seems to be pretty close to another sell out apart from several hundred in block 43.

Tbf that is probably the only vaguely surprising news today. That and Bashir making his debut for England tomorrow.

In no surprise whatsoever, the replay wasn’t picked for TV coverage. That went to Plymouth vs Leeds and Aston Villa vs Chelsea.

Got stuck in them on Tuesday morning. Absolute nightmare.

Draw at 2:10pm on Sunday apparently (i.e. 10 mins into the game). We’re ball number 1.

Every year they seem to try and replace a perfectly good event with something worse (I remember zorbing from a few years ago, cross bar challenge yesterday). Still, I guess it was better than when I went to see Cambridge United and they had to hit it into a skip.

A number of these have been mentioned before. For me, in no particular order - Winning 1-0 at Old Trafford in 2015 - The 8-0 against Sunderland - Watching Saints in the San Siro (even though we lost) - Mane's hattrick against Villa. That tactical genius Tim Sherwood played a high defensive line and we ripped them apart. - Beating Man City 3-1 in 2013. They were league champions and it was MPs first win. Played really well that day

Good times…

Think this applies to half the team. Lots of young players with potential whose confidence is currently shot to pieces. I think that Bazunu has the makings of a decent keeper, but as a keeper his lack of confidence is exposed. Doesnt help with having a defence that changes every week and some players already half-hearted as they will be off in the summer. Won't be watching any more games this season, either live or on TV, and will see what the summer and next season brings.

If we could get a lead of over 250 and get to lunch, that would be a good position imho. Gubbins will probably be run out third ball this morning now.

Is anyone ITK or we all just wildly speculating? The club must be chaos at the moment. We all know that we are going down and that there are going to be major comings and goings over the summer. Can't believe that the owner is well pleased as we have spent a small fortune on players this season and it has gone badly wrong. Has anyone heard anything from inside the club?

Why would he come here? He did really well at Brighton, but they are a well run club with a sensible recruitment strategy. Our problems will not be solved by getting in a good manager. We had one in Ralph and he got burnt out trying. Our problems start at the top, and won't get sorted until SR are history.

In the great escape year of 1998/99 we won 7 and drew 2 of our last 9 home games. It's what kept us up. The difference now is that our home form is terrible. We simply don't know how to break down teams that sit deep and break quickly. Once we concede then the game is lost. We have an outside chance of staying up but I really can't see it happening. We have too much to do, largely because of the ineptitude of the NJ era and losing at home against the teams around us.

Really sorry to hear this. Puts worries about Saints getting relegated into perspective. Wishing you and your family all the best at what is clearly a tough time.
