My name is Andrew. Aged 54. Brought up in Poole, then lived in Westbourne, Bournemouth, now in Bath, Somerset. First season was 1967 but for some reason I can't remember what was actually my first game. However, my first away game was a 2-2 draw with Arsenal an Highbury. Ron Davies was my favourite player.

I saw them at the Emirates when Arsenal won 7-1. They both played very well but Oxo was different class. Every time he touched the ball the crowd was buzzing. Theo was great too though, was good to think they both came for Saints! (though I wish we still had them)

I agree that he does look a little like a fish out of water in some ways and it doesn't look as if he is settling as quickly as I thought he would. I am slightly concerned that it's going to take a while. However, if anyone can develop him it's NA whom he knows and has worked with in the past. As a previous poster mentioned, a good NA pre-season and I reckon he'll be fine. In the meantime we can afford to 'blood' him in gently considering we still have Lee and Connelly as backup.

That was a stand out piece of action for me too. It was pure class and, like you said, he went on to do that sort of thing again and again. The ball seemed drawn to him like a magnet except when he let fly! Really impressed!

I thought he had a great game today and commented on him to those around me who agreed, a couple of them season ticket holders. I thought he helped keep things ticking over and at times linked up really well with Richardson. I was surprised he started to be honest, but he hardly put a foot wrong IMO. Well played that man!

Strong strong performance today. Lambert's control and technique was outstanding. Apart from the first 15 minutes of the second half, I thought we were unplayable. Connolly's goal looked onside to us and Lee's touch at the end deserved one! There was a real buzz about the place. Saints are back on track!

My first visit to St Mary's this season. Tickets have been booked since Christmas. Looking forward to it and think we'e beginning to play our way back into form (even taking Millwall into account). Think we're going to win this though it's a tough game. Can anyone recommend a good place to park the car near the ground? I have always used the multi storey and walked down.

I'm not too worried as long as we can beat Burnley on Saturday with our strongest team. Looking forward to it. May well be a blessing in disguise and focus us totally on the League. I'd take that every time!
