Agreed, but I think any new owners will appoint their own man, and if we have to change then I think someone like Tilson would do a great job.......

I think someone like Steve Tilson from Southend, or even Danny Wilson who's now at Swindon would do a good job at Saints..... they have both taken smaller clubs than Saints to promotion in the past and even though Wilson lost his way a bit I think he would do well......also like the idea of Paul Tisdale being given a chance

I agree with those who think we are as good as down now..... just can't see the fight (that was there a few weeks back) to turn it around If we got a decent buyer I think I could enjoy seeing us completely rebuild from L1 with a good manager who would commit for a 5 year plan.....is that too much to hope for in the present situation, do you think?

But midfield is James' natural position isn't it? so yes I agree and would like us to play him there as the best option, but who do you play at right back, Wotton is surely too slow?!

The question going through my mind is "can it be done in three weeks though?" That's the deadline isn't it?

I guess that includes the recent return of Saga but also Rasiak and John still to come back? Is there anyone else I'm missing? Either way, good to hear Mick voicing what he feels, he has always spoken his mind, and as with this he is often spot on imo.

At the moment yes I would......I didn't think he would make much difference but have to say he's done far better than I expected and I have more confidence we can stay up. By the way, IF we win today I think we can do it as our confidence and teamwork is improving but if we slip up it's going to be mighty tough and I won't be so confident that we really have what it takes......

To be honest I was quite hopeful after the West Ham friendly and the early season promise...even up to where we beat Doncaster away 2-0. After that it was downhill for the most part and becoming more obvious it wasn't going to work. I would love for it to have come off but am glad we are getting back on track with the more experienced players coming in. Just hope we can keep up the good form and it isn't too late too stay up

I am guessing it's just an innocent omission and we'll see him on the teamsheet Would love a another win today too......that would really put us among the other teams just above us

Gotta say, that's exactly what I was thinking as I watched the match. I was recounting the incident to a friend as we watched. I remember being so gutted when the deal to bring in Moyes fell through....what might have been eh?

I am so sad to hear you having to say that, just shows how much the real diehard fans are being alienated. I have always been interested in what you have had to say, as you have done it without extreme reaction or agenda......very worrying indeed! I am so sorry. How much more have the fans got to take?
