Agreed. About time they made a statement I think......
-
I agree it's pointless, ignorant and just plain nasty 'taking apart' people you don't know or know very little about. There is no excuse for that, no matter how frustrated we all are..... ......however, none of the latest puiblicity has helped matters, and one thing would put a stop to it all. We all know what that is! Just come up with the money to pay the staff and then push on to get the deal done! Simples!
-
Sadly, this seems to be descending into a complete circus.....hard to believe this is all happening!
-
Didn't that happen yesterday?

Do you think the Pinnacle bid will succeed? Poll

I want to say yes, but genuinely can't make up my mind. So.......I'm not sure! -
Sorry....you just beat me to it!

I'm a similar age to you and think I could handle what you suggest. I am though looking forward to this season once we're sorted. It seems a challenge to rise to....
-
Ha Ha that made me laugh out loud!

Pinnacle are the guys who are investing their money, I think we just need to trust them right now based on all they have said and done so far. It's absolutely their right to appeal. I just hope it can be resolved asap like everyone else but am trying to be patient (I'm finding it extremely hard I must admit) We don't know all the ins and outs and it's probably not as simple as just taking the -10 points anyway. It sounds like they are working with the league to come to a resolution and are hoping to come up with a way forward this evening......here's me hoping at any rate!!!
-
Good post.....and you are of course right! :-)
-
Good point.....
-
You're right, thanks.....just speaks of communicating with Pinnacle about the position directly. So is the 'no appeal' info an innacurate interpretation or have the Echo and SSN heard the actual details from Pinnacle I wonder????
-
Oh boy! What will Pinnacle do now? I don't feel good about this at the mo but looking forward to some clarification from Pinnacle asasp! Please........
-
Yep, on Echo website Sorry......about another ten posts on here by the time it took me to post

I'd personally take the -10 points and move on but totally understand fighting for the righ to appeal. This is a matter of principle. Everyone should have the right of appeal. TL is fighting for that right even though he and the new board may choose not to use it......in the end whether they do or not is not the issue, it's the right to do it should they so wish. If the club did then appeal and lost, the decision would be accepted. It is the right of appeal itself that is being defended. Rightly so IMO i) based on what we know (...and I realise we probably don't know the whole story) and ii) even by Lord M's own statements of the past.

Spot on! -
As soon as I saw Liverpool were releasing Elias I had the same thought about him coming back. Would be excellent, but is he 'too good' for us now we are League 1?
-
I do hope you're right! That would be the best possible outcome right now! ...and thanks to Tony Lynam for taking the trouble to communicate with the fans. I hope you can resolve all this successfully.
-
I just don't understand the FL and Lord M. You'd think they were out to kill clubs not help them!
-
seconded!
