It would be ridiculous to sack the guy this season. He has not only had to rebuild the team but also the club! It's been a massive job and we are starting to reap the benefits. Sooner or later the team will really gel and in the meantime we are still getting good results and have the chance of winning silverware. He has done a pretty good job so far.......sure I'd like to see us wining every match but that isn't going to happen.......just yet! ;-)

Absolutely brilliant! Well done Saints. From being sure we wouldn't have a club to support at one point...... to Wembley and still so much to play for in league and cup.......all in not much overn 6 months! COYS

That's a shame for him. The FA have bent the rules on this already this week, it's a shame the League can't follow suit on this occasion.

The Mirror says we have had a bid of £200,000 accepted for Barnard. Whether that means anything, coming from the Mirror, I don't know......

There is a rumour around that this is what happened. If so Saints have acted honourably by covering him and Coventry and taking the flak. If it wasn't that then Saints seem to have acted very strangely.......though there's often more than meets the eye isn't there?

In response to the OP I read somewhere that Boothrooyd has outdone AP in every meeting they have had so far.....sadly including today. Maybe someone can confirm that just out of interest? I am still very happy with AP and with Saints this season. Would have loved to have got something out of the Leeds and Colchester games but we will still be up there in and around the playoffs come the end of the season I think......

Both of those are true. We have just sold my Dad's house and it went quickly at close to what we were asking. That was in Poole.

Absolutely! :-) Sorry, I thought Rooney was also a striker. No point in me comparing him with Craddock then...... Thanks for the heads up. Seems like half of us have made the same assumption.

Happy to trust the judgement of AP and the scouts/coaches. (not that I could do much else ;-) However, from what I've read I think I would prefer Tom Craddock from Luton if we could get him.

I was going to say at 2-1 that I've got a similar feeling to when we played Bristol Rovers at home.....twice in front then lost 2-3. I hope we can go on to win it this time...... time to show our mettle!
