Oh Saints, why do you do this to us every season? It was not a total surprise but it still really hurts...... It would be great to get off to a flying start at least once in a lifetime! I never feel at ease until we get the first win and I hope that comes next week then we'll be up and running. If not........

They said the same thing on Radio 5 live! I was driving and shouted Yeessss!!!!! only to discover a few minutes later the penalty had gone the other way! :-( I did think it strange that Waigo had taken the 'penalty' though How could they get it so wrong???????

.....quite possibly that something more important than football (and unrelated to Saints) was taking his attention. I guess we'll have to wait and see......

Just watched the interview on Saints Player and he looked and sounded in every way as if he didn't want to be there and his mind was on something else.....what that is is anyone;s guess. But very very different from every other interview I've seen and certainly not one you'd expect after a 5-1 victory.....

Maybe we just made them look like that?

Sensible OP. Agree with what you have said. Thanks for bringing some common sense.... To be honest the playoffs were always an unrealistic target this year with the -10 but we all hoped it might happen. When we seemed to be getting within a few points our hopes were raised perhaps falsely, but I am enjoying the good things that are happening this season and the definite turnaround and progress made since the preseason shambles......

I thought he had a good game yesterday too.......took a couple of crosses easily under pressure and some good distibution, not just hoofing it......

Really proud of the club, fans and team! We paid the price for going for the win at 1-1 and then taking off Perry. Never a 1-4 game but hey, Saints are on the way back!!!!!
