To be fair to Bransgrove, he moved Hampshire Cricket out to the Rosebowl & has clearly put in a lot of effort to develop the club. He has shown the commitment, desire & vision to attract England games & break the hold of the usual County grounds to stage Internationals and I like the fact we now have the opportunity to watch International games in our home town. On the matter of the treatment of the likes of Lawrie, Benali & Le Tis, I reckon you'd struggle to find anyone who is truly happy with how they've been treated, but to throw your cards in with pompey is not the smartest thing to do.

Sorry, but can we go back to the supposed source of funds for the loan - if the council are genuinely involved in forwarding council monies, when and how will the council justify this to those who elect them ? Portsmouth city council has recently declared it's intent to shut public toilets... you might say that's a bit of a contradiction given the nature of fat pipes or do the council really think they need to be seen to be taking all steps to support the local asset that is pompey ? forget the obvious local rivalry but this makes no sense.

Adkins has been great for Saints and how he's been treated is poor, but I take some comfort from the quotes from both Forren & Pochettino re the project /plans for the club. We've all read of the 5 yr plan cortese had with liebherr, however, i take some reassurance that a plan remains to improve the club, as whether unfounded or not, i had fears the club might have been sold & i feel that would leave us vulnerable.
