So quite a tidy sum then. Half a mil could do quite a bit for a club in the state we are in. So I ask again, has any of it been paid back now they have returned to power?

Apparently both were paid a not inconsiderable sum when they were turfed out the first time. Has a single penny of it been paid back, what withg the club being in such a poor financial state?

Unfortunately no. I just can't see where the points will come from. THe year we dropped out of the prem I really thought we could do it right up until the last minute or so, but this year I think we are down already.

Bad result. This means Adams will be sacked on monday and they will get a real manager in and beat the drop on the last day again.

Perhaps what is more telling is the comment about the strength of the team being more important than the short term finances. MAybe were not in quite as much financial trouble as certain doom mongers on here would like us to believe.

And a quality defence wouldn't have pushed up so far and let the guy in round the back. Give the bloke a break ffs, without him we would be mathematically down already:rolleyes:

I agree. Lowe won't go just because of a few nasty songs and a few 'lunatics' (his words,not mine) walking round the town. He is obviously so deluded that he still thinks he knows best, he clearly has the league table upside down on his wall. The way forward is to target his supporters, get them to change their minds and vote the leech out once and for all, and then for them to follow him out the door. How do we apply this kind of pressure though, legally? Do they have business interests we can boycott?

On a more serious note, I think its more of a tradition form the days at the Dell. We always used to kick towards the Archers first half if we won the toss, which I'm pretty sure meant the sun was in the oppositions faces more than ours. With the Chapel being the 'home end' like the Milton was it has just stuck.

They like to kick towards us in the Chapel in the second half as by then were usually all asleep and we need a goal to wake us up. Seriously does it make much difference? These are proffesional footballers, I'm sure they are far too concentrated on the game to even notice what the crowd are singing, never mind where its coming from... We seem to have at least one of these threads a week, usually just turns into an 'i'm a better fan than you' type of thing. Boringggggg

And? Jan might be a bit daft but surely even he wouldn't have risked his most important player in a totally meaningless friendly!
