  1. Anyone else laugh at Nigel Clough driving a Kia?
  2. You're going to kill yourself in protest? Bit extreme...
  3. It really makes me laugh when people trot out this line, how can you possibly comapre the two? Different players, different games, different coaches, different chairmen, different bog roll probably! Its the worlds most flawed arguement.
  4. I heard that too. Also worried me when Wotte said he didn't concentrate on the other team, only Saints. Fair enough if we were beating allcomers easily but surely with a team in our position it would be wise to check out the opposition first?:smt017
  5. Big Lolz! Gayles face was a picture!
  6. Was talking to the manageress today, apparently they ar hoping to have sky sports installed very soon. Sauce?
  7. If we have a board that makes sensible decisions, backs the manager to pick and assemble a team (as far as financial constraints allow) and don't treat the fans, ie their customers, with total contempt then I would go whatever league we are in. But its a moot point, we can't possibly get any worse if Lowe goes;)
  8. It hurts to say it but I've had it with the way the club is being run. I won't be spending another penny on the club after the end of the season while Lowe and Wilde remain anywhere near it. I cannot and will not support this regime in any sense. The day after they go I will renew my season tickets, regardless of what league we are in.
  9. When he fell over, did the commentator say 'he's gone down like he's been shot!'?
  10. Remember all the kits will be changing yearly now, so probably not far off an 'everything must go' type of sale.
  11. I drove past this just after it happened. She was laying in the road looking mightily ****ed off. Her bike was fooked.

  13. Don't think Drew completed a single pass all night. All he had to do was pass it into the net, not surprised he missed. Shades of Prutton vs WBA in our last relegation season, the goal that could have kept us up, or the miss that sent us down? Its all a bit familiar....
  14. Or could it be that they can't price the season tickets yet as the new owners may want to price them differently?
  15. I had a decent view of it and it was a definite penalty for me. Perhaps the ref was doing a bit of 'evening up' for not giving the Perry handball!

    THAT Save

Yeah! Cause Pele was just the worlds best goalie and then some!!!!
  17. The Chapel also rocked today. We sang almost 3 songs in their entirety and clapped along to lots of others...
  18. Well said. THe refs couldn't get any more biased towards utd so whats the problem?

    THAT Save

I was sat right behind it and anyone who says it wasn't the save of the season, and quite possibly KDs career, either knows f uck all about goalkeeping or is blind! He changed direction, got his hand virtually to the ground, the ball was behind him, he managed not only to stop the ball but to get enough on it to flick it to safety. He had absolutley no right to get anywhere near that ball. Incredible.
  20. Please

    LLoyd James

For me his best game in a Saints shirt today. Superb going forward, and some brilliant crosses. Not a huge amount to do defensively but what needed to be done he did it well, and a superb goal line clearance when we were hanging on a bit near the end. Well done young man!

    Jon Parkin

The lad they brought on at half time was even bigger! Seriously though, if he is a pro footballer there is hope for me yet...
  23. I'm not the blokes biggest fan but I really think you are reading too much into that.
  24. Fair enough then.
  25. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11395 Fair enough comments, and glad to hear the team are keeping level headed ahead of next week. Just a shame he couldn't give the fans any credit, who I thought were excellent today.
