Things could get interesting in the Astana camp. Theres four riders all with the ability to win the overall in the team, and with Armstrong not named as team leader, can his ego put up with it or will he try to stamp his authority on the race in the early days? Can't see too many others in with a shout, possibly Sastre and maybe Evans if he can handle the pressure better than last year. COuld be the most interesting Tour for a long time.

British Speedway Grand Prix - Millenium Stadium

I was sat not far from the 'trouble'. A bit of drunken handbags really. Not nice whe theres families around though, think next year the stewards may be a bit harsher on leting people in who have clearly had a skinfull already. Unfortunately POland has a huge problem with violence between speedway fans, and it does occasionally spill over when they go abroad. Bit of an 'England away' situation. THought it was a good meeting, not the best but certainly not the worst. Track was superb but probably could have used a bit more dirt on the outside. I'm not Crumps biggest fan but he was nothing short of untouchable, the world championship has to be his barring any disasters, and rightly so. Couple of strange reffereeing decisions as well, but then it wouldn't be a GP without some of them thrown in! Now then, do I make the trip to Peterbro' for the SWC? Anyone else going? -
Nah, only wear it when it rains...

Sorry but your knowledge is wrong. Bournemouth regularly gets 747s landing and departing due to the maintenance base they have. In fact the runway is capable of taking aircraft that have a longer take off/landing run than a jumbo, Concorde visited a few years ago. Its 'hard turn towards the IOW' is perfectly plausible. Watch the path the Ryanair flights take when approaching from the north for a westbound approach, out towards the island before a right turn over the forest to intercept the ILS. [/anorak mode]

Almost certainly on its way into Bournemouth.

I always used the Grapes too, great pub if a little on the pricey side, but on the plus side they allowed kids in. THeres been a fair bit of work going on inside and there is a sign on the wall that says 'reopening soon', just hope its in time for the start of the season. I've been told Banana Wharf is kid friendly on a matchday, can anyone confirm this?

It probably needs updating anyway. Several cases of fraud need to be added...
-
It probably is, they need something to do while their sisters are on the rag...

And our prospective new owner is British, and understands football, unlike the sheikh, who will probably get bored if they don't win everything the first year and bugger off to buy a baseball team or something.

The Stags at Testwood Park, way hey! But who do I support? Bugger!
-
I'd be happy if just came to Staplewood a couple of days a week and showed them how to take free kicks/corners/pens!
-
They'll bring back Gladiators?
-
At the end of the day it will be down to us. Pretty sure they will start the season with the corners closed but if we start selling enough tickets then they will need to re-open them.

The problem lies with this useless excuse for a government, who decided it would be a great idea to introduce policing targets. Now instead of worrying about fighting crime and the causes of it, Chief Constables are under massive pressure to hit these targets and have to police as such.

Oh God its Michael Wilde, the guy who brokered the deal said he was a Liverpool fan as well;)

Exactly what I'll be doing!
-

Why on earth are people so against Shearer but would love MLT to do the job, someone who has even less experience. No thanks to either of them from me!

Probably not as big a disaster as liquidation tbf.

Therefore something will happen. It always happens on a friday. I am not ITK and never have been, I just know that Friday is announcement day. HTH.

Wotte is just another Poortvliet. Can only play one game and when that hets sussed has no plan B. Get rid ASAP.. Personally I would like an experienced (so not Ince, Keane etc) manager, but one with the ability and time to take us forward (Dowie, Magilton). And no ex-players with no coaching badges/managerial experience!
