  1. Paultons Park do a decent evening deal, think its £12 after 5pm. Might seem a long way from basingstoke but its 2 mins off J2 of the M27, so about 30 mins away on a decent run
  2. Anyone know who the Asian guy is on Nigels right? Translator for Tadanari? And if so does that mean he's fit to train again?
  3. Thats the bugger, got a lump in me throat now, dear old Marian... Anyone got a link to an mp3?
  4. Evans is a joke. Won it last year by grinding his way through the mountains without ever setting the pace then beating Schlek in the time trial. This year he finally goes on the attack, far too early in the stage imo, and promptly blows up on the final climb. The tour is Bradleys to lose, with his strongest opponent seemingly being his own lieutenant.
  5. And has anyone got a copy of that robbie williams karaoke song still kicking around? Could do with a retro-laugh...
  6. I'd like to suggest a new hashtag #wheresCorpHo
  7. We are Southampton, we'll jump (over) what we want...
  8. Its complete ******, but happens every year when someone new takes the lead. If they applied the same testing procedures to football as theydo to cycling the game would fall apart overnight...
  9. Ive sat in the east stand archers corner surrounded by Newcastle fans if that counts. That was the night Matty won the game coming from behind in the second half, and yes, I did go feckin mental. Also growing up in Liverpool Ive stood on the Kop/Glwadys St loads of times, never had a problem being an obvious away fan, mainly as we were generally getting battered on the pitch!
  10. There is an option under the explore tab to start a new club. I'm happy to set one up if people are interested in joining?
  11. I think he will be quite rightly given a season to fight for his place. He's helped us to two promotions and a cup final, to show him the door without even being given a go would be very harsh indeed.
  12. You hear a lot of moans and groans about the NHS but I have to say through personal experience, when the **** hits the fan for someone the staff up there are the dogs danglies. All the best for a speedy recovery Whitey, you're in good hands.
  13. No luck or lead out again today for Cav. Sky have, unsurprisingly, put all their eggs in Wiggins basket. The way its going and with his Olympic aspirations I can see Cav climbing off a day or two into the mountains.
  14. Have had to pretty much give up cycling for the time being to to a fecked knee that needs an operation to fix. Gutted. If anyone is interested there is a free smartphone app called Strava which is really good, it records all your rides, times and altitude etc,and you can 'follow' other users a bit like twitter, might be useful if someone wanted to start an SFC group.
  15. Travelling from southampton? Get a taxi. Door to door, no stress and no worries about scrotes going shopping in your car while your away.
  16. NTL/Virgin 3 mobile, utter w@nkers I'm quite surprised saints ticket office hasn't popped up on here yet Not exactly a company per se but HMRC have to be possibly the most useless organisation on the planet.
  17. I was under the impression that it was a football league contract, hence we are free to get out of it now back in the Prem
  18. Just had the following reply from Ofwat Thank you for your further email, I welcome the opportunity to clarify this information for you further. I can confirm that the Environment Agency has identified Southern Water's region as one of serious water stress where metering should be prioritised. The recent drought is a separate, albeit related issue. The Environment Agency also issues drought orders and drought permits that are different to areas of water stress. An area that is considered seriously water stressed is one where the normal level of water resources are considered to be stretched to provide the volume of water to meet demand over the next 25 years. An area in drought with a drought order in place, is one in which the water resources are currently well below their normal level. And to such an extent that they are stretched to provide the volume of water necessary to meet demand currently, or in the very near future. I include a link below to an Environment Agency report, which shows that it has classed Southern Water as a company with a water stressed region. You may note that a significant number of other companies are also classed as seriously water stressed. A number of these companies are also carrying out extensive metering programmes. Although not all of them follow the same form as Southern Water's approach. For example, Essex & Suffolk Water, which has a worse score than Southern Water, has been compulsorily metering customers in Essex, when the occupiers of a property change, for around the last five years. http://publications.environment-agency.gov.uk/PDF/GEHO1207BNOC-E-E.pdf I hope that this addresses your further points. Yours sincerely So I guess it metered water whether we like it or not

    1. Not official, but mid 20's 2. Don't extend wrists until hands are below hips 3. Shorten my backswing, it will go further and straighter (it works!)
  21. Hope the Junior Saint forms have been ordered! Congratulations to you and your family!
  22. I'm currently awaiting clarifiaction from Ofwat regarding water stress areas, especially in light of the recent lifting of hospeipe bans, however in the meantime I found this, which it seems Southern Water don't want to make too obvious to find http://www.southernwater.co.uk/microsites/IndividualNeeds/difficultyPaying/waterSure/default.asp
  23. Wasn't KD skipper when Nigel took over, but he gave it to Hammond as he wanted a captain out on pitch? Personally I think Hoovield should get it if, as is likely, Hammond will be warming the bench more regularly.
