Good thread actually Turkish. What are peoples opinions on what a manager should wear on the touchline? For me its a sharp suit and club tie. He's a manager and needs to put himself above his players, a good suit gives an air of authority. Managers that wear training gear look like coaches imo, and lower themselves to a matey level. Bit of a conundrum. Look, he's a young lad in a new country, in a new league. He's going to take some time to settle. He arrived with a massive price tag which has done nothing but heap pressure on his shoulders. Anyone who says he is crap or talentless clearly knows nothing about football and should stick to knitting. Given time, and played in his natural position, ie the 'number 10' position with a bit more freedom, I'm convinced he will become an excellent player. The problem for Saints is can we afford to have what is in effect a luxury player in a back against the wall, relegation battle type game?

Its up to the ref how much he gets his assistants to flag for. As some have said usually with lower level games he/she will only want ball out of play/offside decisions, some however are happy to be 'helped' with fouls. He/she is perfectly within their rights to chanfe their mind after consulting an assistant.
