  1. Mansel park is about all this lot need...
  2. To be fair we did score a perfectly good goal today until the PLs finest decided laying down and whining constitutes a foul🙄 But yeah, looks like the City game was a blip. I'd like nothing more than to see Jones succeed but its clear he either isn't going to, or needs time to do it, time we just don't have. Its still an out for me, and do it now while the season can just about be saved.
  3. A wonderful welsh mining village
  4. I really hope, for all concerned, that this is a turning point and we kick on now. I'm still a bit worried that in the interview after the game he thinks we 'dominated the forest game'. Err no Nath, that was probably the worst 90 mins of football from a Saints team that anyone can remember.

    Lyanco

Fair play to the guy very happy to have my words shoved down my throat. Still looks capable of a disaster or two though...🤣

    Lyanco

Great tatts, awful footballer. Never want to see him in a Saints shirt again.
  7. I'd like to see him play in Romeu's old role, just in front of the back 4. Might stop Salisu going on so many suicidal bursts forwards
  8. What a shame it would be of the cost of having supporters at the game forced them out of business, again...
  9. Two weeks all inclusive ona private Carribean island for all my friends and family. Pay off their mortgages. Design and build my own houses, one in the New Forest, one in the Adriatic somewhere. Invest in an F1 team and do the full season
  10. Are you on there as well then?
  11. Shame, a guy who showed huge loyalty to the club when it would have been easy to go to WHU for a nice big pay rise. Never going to be the best player on the pitch but you could never question his professionalism or dedication. I hope this doesn't sour his relationship with the club and they can find him some kind of ambassadorial role, especially now as Le Tiss appears to have gone full david icke...
  12. As Ralph has already decided on his retirement, and with the boards talk of continuity throughout the club I wonder if a succesor will be brought in to work alongside Ralph for a season until he hangs up his boots completely?
  13. Wrong game, it was the following year https://www.lfchistory.net/SeasonArchive/Game/4888
  14. Which game did he score in then? I clearly remember him running behind the goal at the northam end giving the scousers some stick before celebrating with our fans
  15. That was the moment for me, the 6 pointer to end all 6 pointers. It was probably easier to score than miss...
  16. 100%. If I was on my way home from the pub one night, busting for a piss, and he staggered ablaze out of a nearby burning building, I would cross the road and piss on a tree.
  17. THe only players I can say I actually hate are Lallana and Van Dick, and would lose zero sleep if their careers were ended tomorrow. Other than that Vardy and Grealish are two that its hard to like, but you would have them both in your team if offered.
  18. Three words sum up why Puel had to go, Hapoel Beer Sheva.
  19. It seems the guy is half Turkish, maybe we can get Efes on tap in the concourses?👌😂
  20. Ad people actually believe this shit? Laughable and terrifying in equal doses!

    Danny Ings

It was the best move for both parties. Big last payday for him, big overpriced sale for us of a player one small knock away from a career ending injury. I bear Ings no malice whatsoever, very glad he isn't playing tonight though.
  22. Bore off Matthew...
  23. Shame it didn't work out for him here but I wish him the best of luck at Norwich. Hopefully he will get a good reception when he returns to St Marys, before picking the ball out of his net a few times!
  24. I'm willing to give him until christmas. He's been making a few comments lately about having a bit of a trasfer kitty this summer, something he hasn't had so far, and to be honest if we sack him who could we realistically replace him with who could do any better with this squad?
  25. Agreed. I find it extremely sad that someone I grew up hero worshipping, and someone that you thought might actually be a bit different to the average usual 'thick footballer', turns into such a complete bell end. And a shame about Lambert too. Oh well, there you go...
