£60 for me and the nipper for a tv game on a sunday? Easy choice to make. How many loyalty points will I miss out on though?

Danny Fox. Who the hell would everybody moan about if it happened?

Saw Rickie in the airport car park yesterday, about 20 mins after the Newcastle/Manchester flights landed:? Although didn't have any bags with him and got in a taxi so my guess is he spent the weekend with family in Liverpool. Hopefully.

Wasn't going to bother this year, but at £25, I'm in!

Don't agree about a back up keeper, if were serious about CL we need a better keeper than Boruc full stop. Whilst he is a perfectly good shot stopper and he commands his area well enough, his distribution with his feet is awful. His decisions just don't suit our play it out from the back style. When he gets the ball to feet both CBs come wide and short to give him two options, but he usually passes into the midfield to a player who is then shut down, thus putting pressure on him while the CBs recover their positions, or he smashes it down the field into no-mans land or straight out of play. If he works on this and improves I'm quite happy to have him on the pitch, but sooner or later its going to cost us.

Why the f*** would you spend all that money then leave just because you don't agree with a sub? Morons, utter morons. Must admit I liked the 'if Guly scores were on the pitch' song and the slightly worried look on the stewards faces.

God I hope these *****s somehow get through to the 3rd round of the cup and draw us. We could hit double figures easily. In the first half.

What will change before England can win a tournament?
Huffton replied to Hedgehog's topic in The Lounge
Until the English attitude to the game changes we will win nothing. English physical style game cannot cope with the continental type of pass, build and move game. The FA have finally realised this and are now coaching youngsters with a more continental approach, however I am talking about the little ones, 10 and under. Its going to take years until we can properly compete again. -
Or maybe as someone who is never going to able to run a marathon or climb Kilimanjaro I saw an opportunity to get involved and raise some money for a very worthwhile cause. As I said it was naive of me to put it on here as I should have guessed the reaction it would get. Ive got better things to do with my life than sit here and bicker with the likes of you Turkish. Enjoy your internetting, I'm out of here. Mods, please feel free to delete this thread.

Wow. But then again did I really expect anything different

OK, I have sigend up to Go Sober For October, a charity raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The challenge, as the title gives away, is to drink no alcohol for the whole month of October. So if anyone would like to sponsor me in what will be quite a feat for me:rolleyes: the link is: https://www.gosober.org.uk/profile/paulhoughton Thanks in advance!

Done. Bit of a strange one that people would rather vote for someone who wants to help stray dogs on Afghanistan. Strange priorities...
-
Whoever it is he thinks Ashley Cole is 'a rude, arrogant pr1ck'. So we know its not Ashley Cole...

It shouldn't be that hard to work out. Not many footballers are capable of writing a whole sentence, never mind a book...
-
Just got this book out from the library today, seems like a bloody interesting read so far. Has the player actually been outed? I was thinking it might be David James but he sets himself up as an outfield player in the book, not that that really means anything. Anyone else read it? Or know who it is?

Can't make any promises but if Hampshire get through the the YB40 finals and I manage to get tickets I will be selling my adult and child Liverpool tickets

http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/37004B1EA2B22D4C Go for the family section if your taking your nipper, much cheaper and pretty decent seats
-
As crap a situation as it is, demand for these games is always going to outstrip supply so the easiest thing is to buy the extra adult ticket (assuming the fecking system will let you) and then just sell it in. The whole customer service thing at the club is a joke thoiugh, someone needs their arse kicking out the door quite frankly.

Only one medical to report. A member of staff from kiosk 8 had to be treated for blisters to their hands. Really? Too busy vvanking as he had no one to serve? The referee was happy and had nothing to report but five coins were found on the pitch at the Fratton end – stewards will be made aware of this at their next briefing. And no doubt told to hand them all in to be paid into the bank on Monday morning...

Bieber? Redknapp?

Iwan Thomas?

Don't know if any of the comments above re losing are aimed at me, no where in my post does it suggest this, we weren't good enough yesterday end of. However had the pen been given and we'd gone ahead who knows? My point is something is badly wrong when a supposed top official can't see such blatant handball right in front of him.
-
Don't know, had my head in my hands as I was sure it was a pen. This guy is pulling over £50k a year to be this bad at his job.

Feck me, just seen the penalty shout on the tv, didn't see it properly from the ground as we were right near the front at the other end. How the f u ck did he not give that? The lad virtually caught it! Best ref in the prem? Not even the best ref on the pitch today!
