The other thing is the Chapel tends to be a bit older than the Northam (family bit excepted), ex milton roaders etc, so maybe we don't feel the need to sing about kicking a skates head in every five minutes.

When we do Oh when the saints at a decent pace the whole ground joins in, then for some reason the board bangers speed it up to 100mph and guess what? It all goes to rat****. I agree with someones earlier post about the liverpool/whu bit. If we could get the club to play a decent version of OWTS loud over the PA it would work well, scarves held aloft, banners the whole works.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 Ipswich Town
Huffton replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Ref/lino on the kinsland side were utter garbage. Two absolute stonewall pens not given, one so obvious that there were gouges in the pitch where the offence started but the ref chose to ignore them. However we can't rely on officials getting easy decisions right, we have to take chances. Second half we had plenty of chances, but again either made the wrong choice or tried to walk the ball into the net. Definitely need to rotate the squad a bit in the replay, as much as I would love us to have a good cup run the league position is too important to risk. -
I guess we can take some comfort in that its clearly not the Zaire strain, however do we actually know which strain it is? Everyone in the media keeps banging on about how it can only be passed through body fluid but look at the Reston strain, that went airborne.

Has it? We won't know for two weeks. She potentially could have infected everyone sat near her on any of the 3 flights she took.

There is no known cure, there is no risk in giving her an experimental treatment as I see it.

Iv'e just read a book (The Hot Zone by Richard Preston) about this, and some other nasty viruses that come out of Africa. This thing is bad, really bad. Its time the WHO did something positive to stop this spreading as if it gets out properly, the consequences don't bear thinking about. I have huge respect for the people who go out there to help but we need to look at quarantining them on their return at the very least. Apparently they tried this in America, but the person in question sued as it was a breach of their human rights. What about the human rights of people to be protected from contracting it?

This, 100% Watched that NBC doc last night, and he actually wells up a bit when he says' I owe everything to Southampton'. So did I...

Thats because everyone was too scared to give him any. He'd have taken on the whole Milton given the chance:scared:

Think the nearest one in Shirley is the other side of Foys corner, so you're probably better off heading to Queensway anyway.

Virgin Atlantic 747 prepares for emergency landing at Gatwick
Huffton replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
Lighthouse am I right in thinking you are a pilot yourself? I'm not sure of the maths but looking at FR they made it up to 32000 before coming back. If they had a gear unlocked situation what would likely be their safe airspeed, assuming they may try to cycle the gear, or if the door isn't shut properly. Could they get that high at that speed? -

Can't understand why a gear problem would have made them turn back so far into the flight though. If it hadn't locked away surely they would have known long before crossing the devon coast, and they wouldn't have known it wouldn't extend until they got to the other end. Looking at flight radar, it turned back, made an approach, then aborted and flew off over the channel for a bit. My guess id they only found out about the gear when they made the first approach, then went and tried to sort it out/burn a load more fuel off before coming back with just the 3 sets. Whatever, good job all round! -

There is talk of a hydraulic failure which is what made it turn back in the first place, and this could have affected elevator control, hence the heavy landing. -
I can't find the paperwork, any know how many payments the agreement was for? Ta

Well done all of you. Now kindly point out exactly where i have insulted another forum user.

The only ****s are the ones who can't accept that other people have different opinions to theirs and then can't discuss them without resorting to childish name calling.

Fair play to the guy, looked like a different player first half, and took his goal very well. Went missing a bit in the second but didn't really get a great deal of service. Hopefully if he's found his most comfortable position and a bit confidence from the last couple of performances he can push on and gladly ram my words down my throat.

LOL, could you imagine the David Speedie thread?
-
Genuinely pleased for him, hope he keeps it up, especially as it seems he is far more comfortable playing in the middle
-
Lol, which championship is he referring to? Certainly not the football league one!

Did you use your customer no though? As long as you have used your no. when buying the tickets they should still show up in your account. I always used to buy my away tickets at the ground as I passed it quite often and didn't like paying the extra charges.
-
It should show up in your online account, if so print a screen grab as proof
-
Thats a good point, thats what they did last season thinking back. However I've just checked and the email clearly states paper tickets have been sent out. Can't wait for the arguement on the day when I get there and find someone else sitting in my seats. Good old ticket office, nothing changes...
