Saints vs Leeds in our first fizzy pop season? Surely even we couldn't chuck away a game like that unless it was on purpose!
-
You can poke your dog displays and your Albion band, THAT would be half time entertainment!
-
That depends on whether the mrs is still awake when I get in;)

Superb job by all the boys tonight. Roll on next monday and a bit of trophy polishing!

Why? A great goalkeeper doesn't automatically make a great coach. Despite what some on here think Malcolm Webster is a very good and highly respected coach, unfortunately most posters form an opinion on his ability after watching a pre match warm up:rolleyes:

dont you mean when!

i would do stansted on a friday night. Beats putting up with all the drunken ***ts in town! Give me a shout if essruu doesnt want to do it.

First of all well done to the 958 who made the trip up there after tuesday 'performance'. Secondly well done the lads, sounded like a hard fought 3 points and well deserved at the end of it. However we need to use this as a platform and get another three points against Norwich, otherwise today will have all been in vain.

Reckon that fits better;)

Safri is currently mounting a takeover bid. You heard it here first!

Last season we had a team of experienced players capable of achieviing promotion. Unfortunatley they were 'managed' by an alcoholic and none of them looked like they gave a sh1t. This season we have a bunch of kids who are trying their hearts out but are quite simply no up to it yet, managed by yet another Rupert experiment. There are only two outcomes to this season Administration followed by relegation, or relegation followed by administration. Last season I always had that hope that the team would eventually pull their fingers out and perform to their potential, this year they already are. I have never felt so low about Saints in 30 years. Thank you Rupert and 'Mike'.

Not condoning his actions but a decent bike could easily top out on the 'new' dual carriageway section. IMO the road has too many large slow vehicles servicing the refinery, and too many right turns across the traffic flow. Couple this with the amount of bikes that use the road and that want to blast round the wagons, and its easy to see where the problems lie. Apparently when the road was first built Esso were going to pay for it to be made dual carriageway (hence the width of the verges and the radius of the bends) but for whatever reason the council decided to keep it single.

It is a legal procedure that allows a business in financial trouble to keep operating without being forced to sell off assets to pay debts. He will make a series of proposals regarding the company's future - such as a sale of assets like players ???

He only posts like he does to get a reaction, and he's pretty succesful! If everyone just ignored his posts he would soon get bored:rolleyes:

Unfortunately the hockey playing buffoon is so far up his own arse he is more likely to blame the clubs current predicament on the fans who are staying away, instead of realising its his actions that have led to the situation arising.

Yep, AFC Totton are off to a great start. A bit tenuous I know but Totton is in Europe.

What he said. Typical poaching strikers goal. In the right place at the right time, stuck his leg out and hey presto - goal. Thought the lad looked good though, and with his height could really cause some problems. Hopefully should start on saturday.

I sit in the Chapel so my view wasn't the best admittedly, but I was really surprised when Drews shot went in. Anyone who was a bit closer, should Wright have saved it?

winning the 4 team mini league relegation lottery

Hmm last game of the season Forest away. Oo-er! -
Did very well for us and should get a very warm welcome tonight. lets hope he repays some of it by giving away a penalty or three!

Does anyone else feel like me and actually prefer being in the fizzy pop league than the premiership? Don't get me wrong, the day we went down was the worst I can remember, and I was in a state of shock for about a month (or was it the beer?). But with the way the prem is going, I'm quite glad to be out of it. There are only 4 teams capable of winning anything, and with this bloke taking over man city unless you have a billionaire sugar daddy come in the summer you get promoted the league is heading to be a closed shop. In the CCC any of the teams are capable of going up, and they are all just as capable of getting relegated. I enjoy going to games with a bit of (misplaced) optimism that we are going to get a result, rather than thinking a draw at home would be a good result. I enjoy watching teams play with a bit of effort, and players who look like they want to be there, rather than just earning another 30k. Granted things aren't looking too good at Saints at the moment but once the defence gets shored up a bit we will win more than we lose. But get promoted? No thanks.

Co-Commentators (and how Claridge should be banned!)
Huffton replied to Sheff Saint's topic in The Saints
Claridge is a grade a skate loving c*ck. I saw him jogging in Titchfield a while back, should have just run him over when I had the chance... -
Surely with our 'total football' philosophy now would be a great time to give Skacel a free role tucked in behind the striker(s) like he had at Hearts which was so effective for him. Then he may even justify some of his transfer fee.
-
My initial reaction was that he could have done better for the first goal, but having seen it from a better angle the ball is moving away from his line so coming for it would have been the wrong decision. The defence was shocking and left the poor bloke totally exposed.

Anyone else going to the o2 on monday?
