  1. And just for this..... ....he should be welcomed to the club with open arms...
  2. There's always one isn't there.........
  3. You're right it won't, it would become the 97.872340425531914893617021276596p store
  4. And yet you take the paper rumour that Spurs will have Lalanna/Surman for £5M as gospel :smt010
  5. Don't, you'll be starting the 'our Head Coach is a ****-head' rumours all over again!!
  6. And exactly what the Government has done with petrol, fags and booze. Whilst the VAT has reduced they've increased the tax in the background. End result Petrol, fags and booze remain the same price.
  7. Umm, the Stadium loand and the overdraft are probably the clubs only debts (I believe) circa £30M. Oh and of course you'd have to fund the day to day running of the club, Sith Lords alone knows the cost of that!
  8. Wes that's ****** and you know it. The administrators will sell to the people who bid the highest and can prove they have the money. Whilst they may take into account the forward running of the company I doubt very much if they'll take much notice of [such an emotive subject as] 'fans feelings'. Is the recent Bournemouth saga not fresh in your memory!
  9. Fook, that is quite some honour or is it really a back-handed compliment
  10. And don't forget Dodd straight from the corner...although it was later put down as an OG (but, ahem, maybe not in the season in question!!)
  11. have you forgotten to take your pills again??
  12. yay, the return of a takeover fred
  13. But isn't that why the effort is there to reduce debt and turn us into a profit making organisation??
  14. Weren't most of SJ's goals scored away from home too??
  15. OK, I'm going to step into the breech once more my firends... Would you rather a) Spend £1 on a club and inherit lots of debt that you have to finance or b) Spend £30m on a club with no debt and turning a nice profit every year Currently SLH shares are worth, and I stand to be corrected, ~£10M. Someone has to pay to buy all the shares. However there is the debt on top of that that has to be serviced too. So you're looking at ~£50m However if RL wants £0.50 per share and the club was running a profit with no debt (excl Stadium) that would cost someone ~£20M. I know what I'd do P.S. Please correct my guesstimates as you feel fit
  16. Where's benthelegend when we need him :smt117
  17. and St David and HelpMeRhonda and LLS and Fulthorpe and the 18 months of takeover ****e that we've had to put with.........so far FWIW I find it hard to believe that LS, even if she has LC's ear, would still be able to get information from Barclays about their dealings with RL and MW. Not very professional on Barclays' part if it is the case...... Sorry for the .......s, in StRichmond mode!
  18. ahem Sounds to me much what MLT was saying
  19. So, if rumour is to be believed (and why not this one is!!), Stern was on £18K a week. I can't see Saga or Rasiak being on much less than. I cannot quite believe that we would be paying those three an average of £6k a week each. £1-2k maybe..
  20. I'm sorry but LongShot comes over as someone with a seious grudge to burn, probably due to 'redundancy', and as such someone that emotive will tend to jump on the things that support what they would like to happen! Bottom line, I'll believe it when I see it..
  21. But that is a risk in intself, weren't Spuds keen to loan us Pekhart as they believed he was the next big thing.......turns out he isn't. Don't want to end up being an experimental shop for the big boys thanks.
  22. I think he was offered something just after RL went first time but he earns far more on Sports Saturday compared to what was being offered!!
  23. This I'm guessing?? As for LS, why she is backing Crouch when the email intimates that Lowe wanted him in place because of his 'divisive personality' is beyond me. Why swap one devisive personality for another, methinks personal vendetta is coming to the fore!!
  24. Many many years ago I went to France to do my Industrial Year placement, I didn't speak French so picked up the language on the fly. (I was living in student digs too). After about 3 months working I went to have an Evening meal with my boss and his wife and soon learned that the French I had picked up wasn't exactly the, ahemm, purest!! Same thing maybe? If the kids are all going to call him gaffer then I guess it is a word that he will pick up!!
  25. Thanks, see I WAS wrong and misguided
