  1. Wow, and I thought the guy was arrogant and obstructive. Must have been the way you were talking to him. You see this is what I have been thinking. Protests won't work because of the 'lunatic fringe' However if some of the more literate on here could sit down and pen a (closed) letter to RL stating what we feel the problems are and what some of the solutions may be then he might take note. Would be more constructive to have the Saints Trust (as they are a fans groups with supposed power) sit down and have a reasoned debate with the Chairman. no emotion, no anger, just reasoned and polite. I feel RL will respond better to this that to mass boycotts/protests.
  2. Umm Jewell resigned, the board wanted to keep him on!! From http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/derby_county/7802617.stm
  3. Robbie, since you started posting, here and on SaintsForever, about 18 months ago you've been pushing for the club to be sold. I've got to start wondering what your agenda is. You wanted the club sold when Crouch was in, you want it sold now. Are you Fulthorpe in disguise?? And at the end of the day it's up to the Sahreholders NOT THE FANS whether they want to sell or not. Boycotts, protests etc etc ain't going to make anyone sell if they don't want to. The only thing that will is COLD HARD CASH! Do YOU have any spare under you mattress?
  4. What the hell has it got to do with the shareholders whether we go into Administration or not. Surely it's down to the people who we owe money to and whether they want that money back or not!!
  5. Then why don't they get together, get some money and buy RL and MW out or at least buy other shares, call an EGM and get RL and MW out? I think I can guess the answer!! I'm getting pretty peed off with people talking the talk but not walking the walk. Fulthorpe, Salz, LLS.....the list goes on and on. The only way we are going to get some really direction at the club is if someone buys ALL the shares, all IMHO
  6. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2067519.ece last bit, near the bottom of the page http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/championship/southampton/3919594/Supporter-throws-coins-at-Southampton-chairman-Rupert-Lowe.html
  7. The big problem for me is that making Lowe et al resign is NOT GOING TO ACHEIVE ANYTHING. They will still have shareholdings and they will still be able to influence decisions albeit from afar. And personally I'd rather not have LC back at the reigns, too hot headed and reactionary for my liking, and he'll have LM whispering in his ear, more ego to contend with. No, we need to get rid of the lot of them, 'tis the only way
  8. You might get the expousre if it was on Sky but it's on Sultana, which doesn't exactly have a big subscriber base at the moment!!
  9. in the spirt of t'internet :- the Three Amigos with "FAILED" across all of them !!
  10. "Carlsberg has been nowhere near this club!!" or "Board not run by Carlsberg!"
  11. Fame at last Credit though to Um for the original idea
  12. Me and I choose Pikachu!!
  13. Dcik measuring competition is how I was going to describe it earlier....the whole things has become that now. Do you think Javi won the Spanish lottery the other day? He could run the club better than these collective Narcisusses
  14. Some shareholder had given him his proxy! Bet that shareholder wishes he hadn't now :smt044
  15. Gosh Alps, you've really let the Austrian sense of humour get to you!! Lighten up, football's not life and death you know
  16. How about a runners up medal
  17. It was a picture of Lawrie holding the FA Cup not the team. Considering the regard LM and RL have for each other are you suprised that it has been removed. Petty? Vindictive? Yes to both. But would not LM do the same thing?
  18. Where I find myself too
  19. Have you read ANY of this thread??
  20. Nah mate, that's Cowen looking over his should Kevin Costner style...
  21. Do I win
  22. The further points deduction is uusually for 'not coming out of administration properly' ie via a CVA. Generally a CVA is not possible as the major debtor is (generally) the Inland Revenue. They don't like the way the Football league want Football Debtors paid in full first and then a CVA for non-football debtors, hence they don't tend to agree to CVAs, therefore club not coming out of admin properly. That's what I understand anyway, I may be wrong
  23. When MLT got yellow carded at Highbury for calling the linesman a cheating **** or something like that. "Dunno what happened, It's amazing what you don't see from those dugouts!!" Class
