Groundhog Day 29 .... has he gone yet
-
Tadic's best position is anywhere but the starting 11. As our supposedly creative force he creates very little, scores not a lot and can take a promising opening and turn it into a panic defensive situation by losing the ball cheaply or passing straight to the opposition. He falls over at the slightest touch or no touch at all. He is slow, he cannot tackle, cannot head the ball or close down. He bottles out of any 50/50 challenge (actually even 60/40 in his favour) and he hides when the going gets tough. He blames everybody / anybody else when he regularly **** up. He takes the worst penalties I have ever seen, and I have never seen him score from a free kick but always wants to take them. His mother is a hamster, and his father smells of elderberries....have I forgotten anything? As you might guess not my favourite player.

Saint Garret OUT
-
It doesn't matter as Mope will still be manager and he will continue to make idiotic team selections backed up by clueless formations, tactics and substitutions.
-
I am just dumbfounded that the board have let things get to this point and are still not acting to try and sort it out. Mope obviously believes in his own ability but it is clear to almost every Saints fan that he is a complete buffoon and should be removed immediately and in truth should have been given the boot months ago. I just do not understand what the board are thinking , how bad does it have to get before they take action? I don't care about who to replace him with, anybody or even nobody would be better than the tactically inept clown we currently have at the helm. The mental turmoil this is putting me through is leading to a numbness, my brain is telling me stop caring so much, for a team I have loved for 50 years. I sat through the game on Wednesday more a spectator than a supporter. There are just so many car crashes you can watch without getting numb to it all. I feel powerless to the disaster unfolding before my eyes...what the **** is going on?!
-
Much too sensible, Lemina, Boufal and Gabbi need to be on the bench to be brought on in injury time when we are At least 2 down.
-
I am just getting numb to this. Was out and heard we were 2-0 up, and just knew we would be lucky to get a point. It was so predictable that we would sit back and try and defend and then concede right at the end. Mope should gave gone a long long time ago but I have no hope that he will. They say it is the hope that kills, well I have gone through that stage and entered the acceptance phase. Dreadful manager backed by a dreadful Board.
-
They say it's the hope that kills. I've now passed the hope stage and moved into the reluctant acceptance that we are sh*** and are inevitably going down without so much as a whimper. But then I'm a pessimistic old Saints fan, unfortunately it appears that the Saints players have also lost faith in themselves and most importantly the manager. Just get rid of that useless idiot Mope, at least we can all get behind his replacement and give it a go no matter who it is.

Agree with 90% posters on here in their criticism of Pelligrino so won't add to the list. He should have gone weeks ago...just hoping that the board are busy lining up a replacement which is why he is still hanging around but suspect that this is just wishful thinking. One of the most worrying things it that other underperforming clubs have acted swiftly to try to get out of a mess and picked up the available competent managers. Thought I would never say it but I really wish we had gotten Allardyce....Christ things must be bad, and we were laughing at Everton only a couple of weeks ago and now look where they are.
-
Got to be OUT ..gave him the benefit of the doubt for first 10 games but if you change nothing , nothing changes ...he has taken us backwards from Puel. Not only do we look like we will never score again, we have started to ship goals, and to compound this he seems to unable to spot players contributing next to nothing...Tadic, Redmond, Foster.
-
Just what I wanted to say but couldn't be bothered and that's the most worrying thing - that the way we play now is testing my passion....I can accept Saints being not very good and have done so frequently through the years when we didn't have the players or resources but at least we had passion and gave it a go to the limits we had. I simply cannot embrace what we have become, when we could be so much better or at least try to be a little positive and entertaining. when we did 't have the players or resources
-
Don't worry with Pelligrino in charge there's a very good chance that worse days are yet to come. Sorry.....no passion, no spirit, no ambition, no excitement, this is not what we were 'sold' at the start of the season, we really do seem to have lost our way.
-
....is this really the Southampton Way!?
-
Silly me ...there was i on Saturday night all elated thinking that Saints had won 3 precious points and that I had witnessed one of the best individual goals from a Saints player in 50 years of supporting them. I now realise that it was all a sham, that Boufal was just being a selfish brat and that he had put at risk the hard earned point we had in our grasp. I won't get fooled again, no more hoping for entertainment and excitement when watching Saints, I will learn to love the back pass and may even raise a boo when I see anyone attempting to beat an opponent. Boufal is not the messiah , he is just a very naughty boy.
