Just re read the ‘Rate Our Transfer Window’ Thread . I along with 29.22% gave it a 9....49% gave it an 8.....4% gave it a 10! That’s only 18% giving it 8 or below. We got this wrong lads.

I don’t agree to be honest.I think 36 points may just keep us up.That would require 13 points from ten games. If we get a draw then we need 12 from 9. Thats 4 wins with Palace,Bournemouth& Fulham to come at home.It’s not over yet.

I think the problem for me is that he’s become the media’s go to guy for the ‘anti-woke’ quote. Which is fine, in fact there is truth in some of what he says. But he’s kind of painted himself into a corner now.

If I was a BBC presenter & against the current BBC stance on Lineker I would be tempted to tweet something positive about the Tories ie ‘I’m fully supportive of the Conservative Governments proposal to cut childcare costs help people back into work, not sure why Labour didn’t do this?’ Would be interesting how the BBC would react. In principle they would have to tell you to step down.

I actually agree. Everyone piled on Jones for saying that, but he was probably onto something..whether he should have said it in an interview is another thing...& of course ultimately he was useless.

I’m slightly suprised you’ve got Palace only picking up another 6 points when they’re home to Everton, West Ham, Bournemouth, Forest Away to Ourselves, Leeds & Fulham. I know some of those teams will be scrapping , but that looks fairly gentle.

I have been getting strong 93/94 vibes from this season,There are a few similarities. Both seasons we had 18 points from 23 games and the manager situation has strong similiarities.. A ray of hope..we stayed up that year, and look at some of the squad players we had in 93/94.Colin Cramb, Lee Powell, Paul McDonald, Neil Heaney ,Matthew Bound,Frankie Bennett,Nicky Banger,Neil Bartlett. Compare that with the players left out yesterday. It probably shows 2 things.We had a pretty average squad that year & the overhaul strength & depth of squads required just to stay up is light years away from the early nineties.

Thank God Chelsea decided not to strengthen by opting to go down to ten men.
