I'm sorry but what does Portsmouth have to do with Hampshire?

About 3 weeks ago I said we are going up....what was I thinking..we are ****! Sad to see out promising ypunger bowlers Briggs and Woods not pushing on as expected.

Totally agree, I gurantee that Adams would have declared with about 3 hours to go. Mark Nicholas was the master of the late evening declaration, although to be fair he did have Malcolm Marshall. I once watched Marshall bowl Glamorgan out at Bournemouth on the last afternoon in about 30 overs.

Nah, we would never have chased down more than 6 an over. They could have put 5 fielders on the boundary, 1 bouncer an over is ok, and there would have been no limits on overs per bowler. Leg-side balls are fine. Lancs missed a trick today. Even Carberry took the **** today..he was so hacked off he was doing impressions of other bowlers run-ups when he was bowling. They bottled it.

Actually quite confused by Lancs tactics today. I would have declared when 280 ahead. Would have had about 50 overs to try & skittle us.Pretty unlikely with no fielding restrictions we would have chased them down. It's not like they can collect extra batting points. Seemed odd to me.

We've got no chance of getting promoted at this rate. Woods & Briggs just not firing! Next game drop Woods bring in Dimi.

To be honest yes. You can't judge a whole season on 5 hrs of cricket..well you can..but you know what I mean! The only thing they may stop us is our bowling, but i'm confident.

Ha ha Those two would be in most peoples top ten fast bowlers of all time! I think in these times of central contracts and IPL Commitments the days of Hampshire having aworld class fast bowlers is probably over. I agree our bowling may be a touch light, but as was said above, it's only rain that stopped us having mav points after two games. We'll go up this year trust me.

Yeah I did one avout 20 years ago. I had already had about 50 weekly lessons & I was ****! The intensive course was brilliant 25 hours driving in a week, and I passed easily. The advantage is that I was literally dring round the hairiest parts of Southampton 3 hours a day and then parking manouvers for an hour so it was a great way to learn. Highly recommended.
