  1. Theres been about 15 games in the championship this year and only two results! surely this is a result of abandoning the toss. Teams are just preparing flat wickets knowing that any wicket with any life and the away side will bowl first. I think it's a crap idea.
  2. He was definitely at the game, as he was in loads of my mates Facebook photos. A couple of them chatted to him, and they said what nice bloke he was.
  3. There was a story in the Daily Mail onlinetwo days ago with Tino saying he has slept with between 500 & 650 women! There appears to be no doubts in regards to his stamina. Promising signs already .
  4. I see the wheels have fallen off. I'd love them to play Mason Crane. I always think if 3 seamers can't do it, why play four? You might as well try some variety. It's not just the turn. a decent slow bowler always presents a different challenge.
  5. Great we lose Wanyama who most people on here says has been ineffective. Tadic most people on on here says has been ineffective, Mane who most people on here says has bee ineffective. But at least theres a groundswell of opinion to get Ramirez back, who most people on here seem to think shows a lot of potential.
  6. I know this is so wrong, but I'm actually enjoying a kind of Lovren reverse schadenfreude watching some of the posters on here get completely hacked off. I'm so confused.
  7. Try staying off the internet as well mate. Cheers.
  8. A draw. And lets be honest a absolute ****e performance from the top order.
  9. I'm talking about his bowling obviously
  10. Terrible news for Taylor his world must have turned upside down in the last few days.. If Vincey can have a good start to the season, he will probably never have a better chance of getting a test place. (although my gut feeling is he's not test class)
  11. You know I have a real problem with the visitors being allowed to bowl first without a toss. I accept that if Hampshire present a green minefield, then fair enough it's our own fault. But what if we prepare a batsmen's paradise , but it's a muggy overcast morning with moisture in the air and you know it's going to swing like a boomerang. Why should the away team be allowed to benefit from weather conditions we have no control of by opting to bowl first. I think the rule is flawed.
  12. It's actually worse than that. Two go down and only one comes up this year, leaving a top division of 8!
  13. Listened to the Hampshire CC Forum on Solent & thought it seemed a bit tense. There was no Q&A with the members. Is this normal?. It occurred to me that this may have been discouraged, as many of the members probably aren't huge 20/20 fans, therefore next season will see the amount of 4 days home games they can see reduced to 7. Many of these played early season when the weather will be a bit ropey. I wondered if they were anticipating some dissenting voices?
  14. Ben Stokes has seen this video and is embarrassed for us.
  15. Even Villa Fans are laughing at us for this.
  16. Can I just apologise to everyone. It was me who slightly took this thread off track when mentioning Saints Managers. I haven't posted in this section in years, and if I'd known that the smurfs posting above would start squabbling like two toddlers in a sand-pit I would never had posted at al.. Christ i'd heard this place had gone down-hill, but I didn't realise it was this bad.
  17. Good call, although I was focusing more of managers that left us while in the Premier league, as It is a bit more unusual for a manager to choose to leave while in the top division. I'm trying to think of any team that has lost so managers not through choice in the top division.
  18. We also have a great record of rehabilitating managers. Is there any team in the history of the premier league where managers have made the decision to leave rather than be pushed as they have been offered 'better' jobs. Alan Ball, Graeme Souness, Glenn Hoddle, Pochettino and Gordon Strachan (although I think he just got bored & wanted a year out)
  19. Agboola Crescent
  20. Theres a reason why Wanyama has played in the majority of games where Saints finished in a European place last season and look to be heading the same way this season...it's cos he's a damn fine player. I think we'd miss him more than some people on here think.
  21. Wanyama should cock **** with cucumber
