  1. This pains me to admit, but I genuinely enjoy your posts!, i do find myself having a little chuckle sometimes. In these times of great stress they do sort of cheer me up! I logged on this morning, thinking' Let's see what he's typed now!' keep on keeping on fellah!
  2. 'Apparently'..so you don'y know?. Ask your dad!
  3. ^Just adding this to my ever expanding list of things that have never happened to your Dad on a Zoom call.
  4. To be honest that confused me ..I thought 'Is this the real Coca Cola or Tesco's Cola?...then i thought 'Hang on are the Premier League & The ECB supporting the idea of defunding the police?' Then i had to lie down for a bit..then I typed out all the stuff in my head on a football message board.
  5. Hang on are you reselling cans of Coca Cola you have bought... or have you invented you're own soda based caffeine drink based drink & are now passing it off as Coca Cola?
  6. Yeah...but not everyones as confused as you.
  7. You make some valid..IMO...but I don't think taking the knee (which i'm not particularly fan of as it's just virtue signalling..although i'm not actually opposed either) has anything to do with how many players play in the premier league...although if you were to then ask "Why are there so many black footballers, in comparison to other professions such as politics, law, then that might be an interesting debate...it just wouldn't be an interesting debate on here!
  8. Actually make that 9.
  9. Just noticed, and it's just an observation, no agenda, that 10 of our players today are Uk based, must be a while since that was the case.
  10. I think we'll just go ahead and put you down as 'not sure'
  11. You realise when they say 'Black Lives Matter' they don't literally mean only black lives matter right?
  12. ....history might suggest otherwise. i would start throwing names out of players we've sold since 2014....but I'm guessing you probably already know them!
  13. I reckon he could go, especially in the current environment, players have had a chance to reflect, if there was a second spike in the winter, and football ends again it's another few months burnt away in a short career, I could see a player like him thinking, 'Lets try & get that last big move while I can' I hope i'm wrong. if recent history has shown us anything, then he is more likely to go than stay.
  14. The Vestergaard era begins now.
  15. Though Doth Thinketh Tis Squeaky Bum Time.
  16. You've got to say McCarthy at fault there.
  17. I've shown empathy in the post above yours, I've ruminated on why certain sections of the population may not support 'BLM" & attempted to see it through someone else's eyes, prism, social position,, whatever you want to call it.
  18. Well yeah, ultimately they feel threatened..& if I'm playing devils advocate who can blame them?. If someones white & middle aged (just an example!!) then why do they want to get behind Black Lives Matters?. What's in it for them?. They've got 25/30 years left on the planet & quick look at the stats shows Black People made up 9% of britains unemployed compared to a national rate of 4%. Britain's BAME population is 14%, yet they make up 25% of the prison population, whats their motivation t try and even things up?
  19. The thing about the white lives matter/all lives matter squad, is that it's really hard to engage in any sort of debate with them. If they genuinley think that 'Black lives Matter' means the 'White Lives Don't Matter' then one of two things is going on. The first is they are just trolling, so any engagement with them is a waste of time..the second is maybe they genuinely think it means 'White Lives Don't Matter' if that's the case (& I don't believe they think that is the case btw) then they just have don't have the intelligence to view something within any sort of historical/social context therefore any sort of debate will be a bit of a waste of time. Do these people pass 'Help the Aged' shops and yell through the doors, 'What about people with cancer you mugs, are we not helping them!???!"
  20. Yeah, I agree, I grew up in Slough in the 70’s & it was pretty brutal. Genuine question, why do you beleive that this is the least racist society has ever been? (I agree with you btw)
  21. Yeah, it’s a great thing, we are definitely a bit less racist than we were 40 years ago. And hopefully we will be even less racist in the next 40 years.
  22. You haven’t seen my Facebook feed.

I may be too drunk to drive at this moment. Can anyone think of anyway I can check? I might email the Prime Minister's chief advisor..see if he has any ideas.
