  1. If any team wants to contact Deulofeu I believe they should get hold of Nathaniel Clyne and he can point them to his pocket, where I think Deulofeu still is
  2. I was trying to lose it, f'ing club trying to turn us all in to scarfers!!
  3. I left my scarf on the side in the Sportsman pub after the game, and it was still there after I came back from the toilet, so I am going to say we have loads of honest fans as well!!
  4. Thanks mate, I went to website after the constant adverts on podcasts I listen to. The Steel Bells are the ones I thought looked like they were great for functional strength. The Clubs and Maces are the Middle-Eastern version of Kettlebells! Pure sounds like a good gym so joined!!
  5. Thanks, have joined on the good advice from this thread, will try to get there before work or after 8.30 in the evening!! I joined Pure with the extra gyms contract so I can go to the one by the station as well. Need some variety in my workouts as I lifted lots when I was younger but had no idea about nutrition!!!!
  6. Thanks, I will take a look! A bit wary of some instructors for kettlebells as I've seen some horrible technique at Fleming Park, especially with swings!!
  7. Thanks for that, I think most gyms are rammed between 5 and 8!!! You mentioned you were trying a kettlebell work out, do they have them at Pure?
  8. Have you ever tried any of the alternatives on this page: https://www.onnit.com/fitness/ The gimmick Kettlebells I don't think would add much but the Steel Mace and Clubs are a proper old school workout. I have been riding to work from Woolston to Chandlers Ford but need to add some form of resistance training as well. Has anyone tried Pure Gym in Bitterne or are there better ones on the area?
  9. Checking the train tickets yesterday if anyone is going in a group of four and is not bothered about getting a direct train, it works out a lot cheaper if you buy your tickets via Basingstoke and Banbury and can get them on the day. Groupsaver 4 Soton - Basingstoke Normal ticket Basingstoke - Banbury Groupsaver 4 Banbury - Witton For some reason if you split it via Basingstoke it is a lot cheaper, from Eastleigh the total return cost is £30.50 on the day and if you have a Network Card I think it works out to £25
  10. Do the opposite of Spurs, sell loads of players and buy Bale surround him with Turkish's buys and we'll have the one man team again that served us so well with Le Tiss
  11. Everything he invests in that doesn't involve wrestling usually fails, I think he lost a ton of money on the XFL (to rival the NFL)
  12. The players are grown men who should be able to motivate themselves (I assume that is what the huddle is about) I just saw it as too many players below par on the day and seemed to lack energy. It was one of the most lethargic performances I can remember in a long time we weren't smashed by Sunderland but seemed to be doing just enough. I was ****ed off with team more than the manager and apart from the McQueen for Lallana change he made the right subs!
  13. When push comes to shove, the team that played wasn't a bad team when the majority are playing well, the issue was that the majority didn't play well and an awful game was settled by an amazing finish. If we had started with Jay Rod, Cork and Morgan maybe things would've been different but they may all have played **** as well. No one looked like they actually wanted to be there and I don't think the manager can be blamed for that.
  14. I think we went 4th a year later when we smashed Pompey 3-0 at home just before Christmas, two great memories to mix up though!!!!
  15. Off the pitch - A big thank you to the guys having a scrap in the beer queue distracting everyone so I could get a quick round ;-) On the pitch - Awesome second half, a well deserved win
  16. Chelsea looked a level above us today and even though we had loads of possesion in the first half the way they defended was the best we have faced this season. There was no space to exploit and if it did open up it was closed very quickly. We did look very tired second half and this is the first time I've ever felt we could do with a mid season break in the Prem and that it would suit teams like us more than those with a deeper squad. Even though Osvaldo is a quality player I think the player that leads the line needs to be a strong pacy player, out of our budget but Lukaku would be perfect!
  17. Could still be the Eagles or Chargers amazingly after that crazy finish to the last AFC wild card place!! How did the Dolphins go from 6th to 10th in the AFC!!
  18. I'm sure there is a way of tracking it via the Pro-zone/OPTA cameras and feeding it to the referee on a watch BUT that would have to involve an extra official in a booth watching the game and a slight delay which could slow down the game. I don't think it could be fully automated as the rules are subjective
  19. Played brilliantly in the 2002/03 season along with Oakley until he got injured, came on in the semi final against Watford and smashed a player with a beautiful tackle that led to the second goal!! Was **** after that but had his moments!!
  20. I haven't seen it again but could Gaza have come and claimed it? It looked like it was headed in about 4yds out?
  21. Agreed, we just don't think or play the ball quick enough in midfield to take advantage of them. J-Rod was making some great runs in the second half as well.
  22. Well it is the BBC ;-)
  23. Boruc Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw Morgan Wanyama Puncheon Lambert J-Rod Osvaldo Davis, Maya, Cork, Lallana, Ramirez
  24. All we had to do was catch him in the local pub, pass him a form and buy him a drink!! Damn the committee
  25. Too late he has signed for Baddesley Park in Southampton Saturday Vets League!!!! http://full-time.thefa.com/DisplayFixture.do?id=12911923
