  1. No brainer Ivan Golac by a country mile.
  2. Thanks for the replies Seatbelt I have replied to your PM. Me the wife and our two sons are in NZ for a 4 week holiday from next week. Season ticket holder for over 20 years and couldn't believe it when we got Man U when I knew I was away for the 3rd round!
  3. I will be in NZ for the Man Utd game and wondered if it will be shown on TV given that it will be live on Setanta here albeit it will be at 3am. Are there any NZ listees who know?
  4. I'll be there - Jamie Hatch at right back?
  5. Having seen the way Watford play the last thing us long suffering Saints fans need is another kick it long hoof manager like Billy Davies. No thank you.
  6. Not needed - hopefully we can off load in January.
  7. Before losing to Coventry we were unbeaten in 4 league games and only conceded 2 goals (ok I have overlooked the Rotherham game) - no need to panic off the back of one defeat with a long injury list. Keep the faith.
  8. I was disappointed that Wotton was brought back in and Surman moved left against Norwich Cork & Surman did well and I would have left it alone. Wotton was slow in the tackle and passed poorly and was rightly brought off I can understand Jan bringing him back for experience but he didn't look fit. Our young team will have off days and we have to accept that we will lose and lose badly at times but they are learning and it is all about staying up this year and then hopefully pushing on.
  9. Spot on comment - totally agree.
  10. I was sat there thinking this is still a lot better than last season and we only just scraped a team together today. Keep the faith!
  11. Me to regardless of the results at least I am looking forward to going to the game this season unlike last. Much prefer seeing players who care wearing the shirt. It will come right.
  12. Yes Surman was there and looked well up for it.
  13. No worries I thought I was seeing things myself and was arguing with my 11 year old son that it couldn't be Saga but it was!
  14. Clearly there was nothing wrong with my eyesight as several other posters have agreed it was Saga. He was definitely training with the 1st team.
  15. Just back from the family fun day at St Mary's where the squad were holding a training session and Saga was involved with the 1st team training session but no sign of Stern John? I thought Saga had gone? Anybody else there who can confirm? Euell and BWP training with the reserves at the far end and looked like Skacel on crutches by the side of the pitch.
  16. Both are failures quite happy to see neither them in the 1st team again. Especially Euell who can't trap a bag of cement. Over paid and legends in their own minds.
  17. Well I was at St Mary's watching a team who in the 1st half showed skill and guile in abundance - what game were you at? Yes we faded after the break but the football was so much better than last season.
  18. I think it was 12,000 including 3,000 away fans.
  19. I was sat in the Chapel and the Northam although by no means full was loud. The West Ham fans were very quiet in comparison. One thing I noticed with the closure of the Northam/Kngsland corner is that when away fans take their full allocation they will out number the home fans in the Northam.
  20. Great to have the forum back - £5 well worth it!
