A lot of posters on here are showing somewhat blind faith in Osvaldo.. has done little to warrant a starting place as yet.. hopefully he will integrate by start of next season but I think Osvaldo/Lambert will share the lone striker role this season

Agreed.. but real Saints fans have been brought up to appreciate players with something different in their overall contribution to the game. Whatever his faults, Ramirez can make a pass and take 3/4 players out of the equation.. I think he's going to be top drawer, even if it means he moves on from us.

You obviously weren't at the game.. Lambert made one or two slack passes, otherwise he was class... won numerous balls in the air which our offensive players just do not read.. and his ball control (which gives him the extra time) is superb.

It really depends if you want to unlock defences that sit with 10 behind the ball.. he's the only player we have that can provide the cutting pass... IMO he must play, certainly at home.

Yoshida is light years better than Jos.. a good quality squad player who needs a run of games; which he won't get here hence the need to move on. Saying he's crap tells me you did not watch him last season.

I think you insult the Chairman with your post. The only really bad result was Aston Villa at home where we made 3 basic defensive errors. All the other games we lost were against teams we would not expect to beat. NC will surely understand we are not at Arsenal/Chelsea level and our squad is not deep enough to cover injuries we have suffered. So why stir up the clowns on this forum by starting the post at all.

By all accounts, Burnley will play a lot of squad players, so we should win this as long as we play 6/7 of the 1st team.

I cannot see any teams currently below us getting more points.. I would think we will finish as we are now as we havea good run of games Feb/March when Boruc/Wanyama should be fit; and we have missed both.

We were beaten by a team assembled over the years costing mega bucks... we are not ready yet to match top four teams. Still competed for an hour and then they stepped up a gear.
