I'm sorry, you are not allowed to put forth such a reasonable post..

Yes.. and they chose the cushy armchair pundit jobs.. not Manager jobs... what they think means not a lot to MP no doubt

It appears Sir Rickie is not playing to his usually high standards

I don't think Carroll is either good enough OR will have enough time to convince Hodgson he's ready.. That inclusion would surprise me -

I think he will take 5 strikers as per usual in his squads.. -

Oh.. I've posted opinions on his thoughts of Lambert before. Goes OTT where he is concerned. I agree with you, he is past his best but until we find a class pacey lone striker, he's the best we have and will still likely go to Brazil. We've tried Rodriquez up front on his own and he's clueless.. so we need to break the bank and hope a top four team does not prevent us getting one.. as they are priceless -
Yep... that should take care of West Ham
-
The point is to watch us play the best football we have ever seen.. and hopefully finish top eight in the Premier League. Perhaps as our squad strengthens, we will see a stronger Cup team going forwards.
-
Its sad that people have to blame something if we lose... Sunderland deserved it and the team we put out to win played poorly and with little energy. I'm not too bothered as I prefer seeing us progress in the League anyway.. so the season is far from over as some would have us believe.
-
Would you change positons with Sunderland?
SaintSteve replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
Why on earth would anyone wan to swap with Sunderland.. pathetic question -
Bad day at the office.. no-one played well so defeat deserved.. move on to the priority which is the league.
-
Looks good enough to me... and we have a very strong bench if things go pear-shaped early doors
-
Little faith in our squad.. you have
-
If we lose at Sunderland, being tired is one excuse that will not stand up to any scrutiny. Whether we play a full strength team or not, if we play as we did v Fulham and Hull, we should take Sunderland apart.
-
Agreed... Shaw is still learning his trade... made 2 errors recently that allowed Johnson and Odenwingie to score... Red and White glasses syndrome
-
Both very good young full-backs.. Chambers better defensively in the air, Clyne possibly more dangerous offensively.. just maybe Chambers could play in more than one position so we can play both at some point in the future
-
Great result.. we are a strong away team these days
-
Lambert misses may prove very costly as Hull have come more into the game as the half wore on..better game than the 0-0 scoreline suggests. We still appear to be in neutral.. need a second half a la Fulham game to make the difference here
-
I hope MP doesn't think we have nothing to play for..what a strange attitude to have. As for playing youth, I'm sure MP knows who is and who is not ready.. no point in ruining a youngster by playing him when clearly out of his depth.

Cannot believe the polarised opinions on Boruc. In terms of the Stoke match, the 1st goal was due to Shaw losing concentration; Boruc will always come a long way out to make himself big.. very little blame should be apportioned to him. The second goal was a great delivery, but both Fonte and Boruc should have done better. However, in the greater scheme of judging him as a goalie; he was once rated top four in Europe, has over 50 International caps and normally commands the penalty area which is critical for our defence. IMO he's one of the best goalkeepers in the EPL.. in terms of comparing v our previous greats, today's football is at a pace where decision making has to be much quicker.
-
That made me laugh... feel sorry for the ones left out.. must be really poor
-
I would go with Norwich = don't score enough goals Cardiff = too many new faces to integrate Fulham = just poor and 'over the hill' Unfortunately that would mean Fat Sam stays up.. so hopefully wrong
-
Why so you persist in your petty personal insults.. just makes you look juvenile
-
Exactly.. has a great left foot but also has a malicious intent to damage opponents so we would not want him in our side for sure. He also rarely lasts more than an hour without disappearing in games.. we saw both sides today.
-
He's an unfit moron who has a great left foot... obviously Hughes type of player.
