Sounds positive, but stripey kit does nothing for me.. the way to keep fans onside is to keep MP/Players and add some quality... wait and see what happens next week.

I prefer the happy clapper version - MP will stay and we will add 3 quality signings to progress our ambition. I have heard nothing that suggests an alternative direction.. apart from media driven rubbish.

You can understand why Hodgson has trouble selecting a squad when we have such diverse opinions about our full backs.. To me Cole is still the best left back by a mile.. Just needs games. Baines is not great defensively but is a shoe in to go. So Shaw may have to. Wait for the Euros..

The high tempo Everton were nullified today... watching us and you wonder why anyone would think MP could leave... he's sitting on a gold mine of a team... just need to strengthen the squad come summer.

Keep MP.. its no coincidence that MP's style of playing has enhanced the players reputation. I doubt all these media rumours would exist otherwise.

Not disagreeing, but 0-0 does not really make either team hot favourite... not a real fan of his style of football but its effective for sure.

Mourinho's teams have never been expansive, so no surprise at all at this set up... but Atletico are just as likely to win at Stamford Bridge so a draw would not give an advantage to either team.

MP has done worse than Moyes... engage your minute brain.. Moyes took over the EPL Champions and finished seventh... MP took over Saints finished 14th and then 8th... perhaps you are a skate after all, but that would disappoint me as most Pompey fans I know can engage in conversation

You do realise its the semi-final of the Champions League and he's only just fit again... a different level to anything Shaw has played to date.. However, if Cole does not play much, its probable Shaw may be taken anyway.

Personally, I see Everton as being too strong physically, play a faster tempo than us and have more variation in the final third so predict we will lose 2-1..

But the posts don't have to be negative, just balanced, if they saw the game that is... yesterday, again we should have won, but our final delivery still needs improving and our chance completion was poor; Lambert/Lallana/Davis all should have scored but the final pass was not great. Still play some lovely football which will beat most bottom half teams again next year.

Absolutely.. just hope the new regime understand the need for continuous investment to achieve our goals.. another 2/3 quality additions and we will better 8th position next year IMO..
