I would interpret what Thompson said as implying that when we meet Man City/Arsenal/Man Utd; the chances we wasted against QPR, Stoke and Hull would not go unpunished. I see that as the difference between us losing all three games and perhaps getting four points which would keep us in the top four.

Lets see how he performs in the difficult December run of games.. that will provide a better insight as he will get more action.

Agreed... he has weaknesses I did not expect from a so-called International keeper. He lacks conviction in the penalty box, decision making is weak and is slow to come off his line. Hopefully, the Watson project will sort him out, but Koeman must see these issues. For me, Boruc is a better keeper when it comes to the critical areas of goalkeeping, even if he has the odd mad moment.

We let our best goalkeeper go out on loan... There is nothing I have seen that makes Forster better than Boruc.

Agreed.. only watched the extended highlights but we played as well as allowed to by a determined Spurs side who upped their game against us compared to most of their performances this season. For sure, Mane had to score from probably the best move of the match. Two home games to come so we should maintain our 3rd spot for a while.

The offsides were mainly due to the delay in the forward pass, and a couple were very tight.. looking forward to how he deals with one on one with the PL goalkeepers.

The article is accurate.. Samuel is just re-iterating what all sensible fans know; in that we have started the season well, but have had an easier start than most teams. In terms of players leaving, we all know MP made some of our players look better than they are in another team set up.. so we were raided and its to the club's credit that we have a team that can compete at the top level again.
