Reed has indicated no major signings in January.. and Koeman is saying we don't have the squad to compete in a congested December schedule... something has to give or we will have some issues. I would take a chance on Ings and maybe get in Clasie if midfield injuries are long term.

Sunday's ref was just incompetent, but tonight Marriner was so biased it was embarrassing.. it was a case of, Arsenal playing until they scored.. we are not allowed to be in the top four. Apart from that. if we had taken our two gilt edged chances we would all be happy.

I think you need your eyes tested... the ref saw a dive and you see Red.. Fonte slid in and Aquerro went over his lower leg.. definite Pen but a yellow all day.

We lost our shape with Alderweireld in midfield as he does not think like a midfield player... yes he looks great on the ball but the shape is more important... I doubt we would have conceded the 2 goals from outside the box had Schneiderlin still been on the pitch.

Its more a case of opponents having studied all three players and come up with a plan to nullify.. if you close Tadic quickly like Man City he struggles as he doesn't have pace. The next step is for these players to find other ways to penetrate; bound to happen as we are not 3rd for no reason.

Agreed.. I'm hoping Rodriguez will be one.. the premier league grind is taking its toll on Tadic for sure.. needs a rest but we haven't the squad depth to allow for it.

What game were you watching.. Wanyama was our best player.. Tadic was shocking and Pelle spends too much energy arguing with the ref. lets face it.. we were given a football lesson and we have too many players underperfroming at the moment.

Forster has done nothing to suggest he's at Boruc level... but the Watson project will continue and hopefully his decision making will improve.

I think he is rated.. but maybe he's seen as blocking Ward-Prowse and/or Reed so he will be sold on that basis. he's better than both as the moment so I would hope his contract is extended.

Agreed... except that its not 2 weeks rest as most of our players are now Internationals.. so 1 European qualifier and a friendly the following tuesday.

Difficult to pick one player given the high level of performance from everyone.. but like you I think Wanyama has moved up a level from last season and has been key to the minimal goals against column.. must play against the 'big' teams coming up.
