Against Chelsea in October (I think) 1973. Don't remember the score, shame on me. My childrens' first game was against Plymouth in November. No goals, freezing cold. What a night. But they were mascots and loved every minute of it. Even more glad we went as we may never get to see Saints again.

Is SaintsTV working for anyone? It didn't work for the Watford game last week. Did they shut it down to save money?! Unless I have miscalculated, it is less than an hour 'til kick off.
-
Alpine, I agree 100%

Try Saints TV! http://www.sport247.tv/saintsfc/ Buy a subsription and you are giving some money to help out the club! I am going to be stuck in the car, driving 6 hours to the beach today so won't be able to listen.

Agree with that, great to see the players willing to help out -
I'm glad you are so confident. I would love to be proved wrong, but this is going to go down to the wire. Most people with any money are hoarding it right now not risking it on highly risky investments.

Very well said! Maybe you should post on the main board more often. Agree with everything in your post.

You tease us again!

Yeah, you only joined in March. Not one of those multiple personalities, surely.

Isn't this similar to the situation at West Ham? Their Icelandic owners are virtually bankrupt but, supposedly, it won't impact the club in the sense of administration, any points deductions the PL might have. Seem to remember reading that in the last couple of months. How is that different from SLH going into admin but leaving the football club to carry on?

He is probably up in the loft as well. Somewhere there is a huge loft with a lot of missing forum posters. They enter never to be seen here again.

I think he went up in the loft... You mentioned St David earlier, what happened to him?

If Clapham Saint works for an administration company, maybe he could offer his services at a discounted rate. Generate good will in the Southampton area for not ripping the club off, leading eventually to more business from other Southampton companies. Clapham - you know it makes sense! :-) (unless he is not in the business, of course)

I think that he is saying that if a team survives with 49 points, night will not follow day and the world will end.

So Beckham wants to buy a British Football Club?

I thought he was referring to Phil. -

No, Twitter is only for those not posting - I think! -
Granted, night following day is a fact but how is saying a team needs more than 50 points to avoid relegation a fact at this stage of the season? It is your opinion and may turn out to be a fact. I must be uneducated and, maybe, a self-contradicting tool as well.

I have us in 18th, with only 49 points. Blackpool with 47, Norwich 43 and Charlton with 35 are relegated. We lose our last two and survive.

Here is a thought, I will buy you a ticket to a game if you pay my airfare. I like to travel business class, please.

And someone said we had 1500 there. Why was the crowd so low? We would have a lot more than that if we were second in the table.

Today is not a surprise. Our expectations have been raised by the 3 wins. It is important that we bounce back and pick up a couple of home wins. Will be interesting to hear how the team played from those there. Certainly Brum didn't dominate but didn't sound like we created too many chances. Its going to be tough but we can dig ourselves out.

Missed the first half and not feeling good listening to the second half. But even with our good run, this was always going to be a tough one.
