completely agree, McGoldrick has the potential to be a class player and seems to have started to up the workrate in recent games. Against Wolves i thought he was quality against Mancienne. People are going on about Patterson just like they did after Perkharts first 2 games where he looked half decent, before realising he was cr*p.

i have seen all of pattersons performances so far and think he is nowhere near as good as you state. He looks fairly slow and weak. If he beefs up, then he could be an ok player but at the moment he should be no more than a sub. Also the other players clearly don't seem to rate him as they never really pass the ball to him (Lallana and DMG especially).

why does everyone still put Rasiak in the team!? he was/ is so lazy and is nothing without a decent strike partner (kenwyne Jones). Some of you have clearly never seen the bloke play. I know people bang on about his scoring record, but if my nan stood in the box for 90 minutes im sure she could score at least once. I think Euell and DMG would be the best strike partnership we have.

The sale of Bridgey for me and the ageing Marsden. Bridgey was our best player and our style of play suffered when he left.

it was a tactical decision and a good one because they were all over us, prior to our goal against the run of play. Once the switch was made we were a much better team. I don't rate Perkhart at all and with him in the team we just hoof it.

I may be the only one but i think that big Leon is the best. I think people judge him because of what happened against Derby which is unfair, he scored 2 against southend, and the winner away at Norwich and also played his part in the 6-0 win over wolves. His hold up play is the best of the 3 and would fit Best into the new system. i'm not sure about the next two as they are completely different, Dexter is a harder worker but Mcgoldrick is cleverer and more skillfull.

The reason why Perry was not playing is because him and Cork are both too similar to play together. So it was either going to be Perry and Lancashire or Cork and Lancashire, and on this occasion Jan chose Cork... pretty simple!
