Someone may point out that telling us the source of the Tweet was unnecessary. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Back in the day, we were regularly linked with Fred Bloggs, but he was only ever an average guy.
-
Heard a rumour we are interested in Gary Baldi - no flies on him - with Rich Tea as a back up, despite his tendency to collapse in hot and wet conditions.

Points predictions for next season are in a different thread I think.

I'm a bit reluctant to find out just in case ...

I'm pretty sure that under Nicholl we played what was effectively a 424 with Matt in one of the winger positions and Jimmy Case pulling the strings as part of the 2.
-
My memory of Matt is that even if he had a nominal position he could pop up anywhere in the attacking half and under many managers our tactics were 'give the ball to Matt'.
-
Was relieved to see this was a football-related thread and not a discussion on Matt's position on COVID, climate change or - (le) god forbid - Ukraine.

We don't sing to you and it's such a shame But we don't know how to pronounce your name Some think 'Shay' should be in your song But I suspect that they are plain wrong

Another brilliant performance. The team is playing like every game is a cup final and the composure and skill levels when playing in tight spaces is the best I've seen from a Saints team.

Come on, tell us what you really think ...

I'd guess it means he's in a position to retire at 57 with enough money to support whatever lifestyle he wants to have and with no concerns about his finances. (from a 56 year old who wishes he was in the same position)

"The 26-year-old was a constant danger throughout proceedings at St Mary's and became a target for the Saints who fouled the England international on three occasions." Three fouls? Poor lad.

Wolves players falling over from the first minute to the last. The swan dive from Podence at the end deserves some kind of award.

Meant as a joke ... Trying to find something to complain about 🙂

Not a fan of the waistcoat and trainer combo. Needs to do better.
-
Played very high up the pitch with more pressing than I've seen in other games this season. Fraser and Lyanco excellent, the rest very good (even Valery).
-
I think that's the tag line for the City of Culture bid.

8 now. Edging ahead of Saints.
-
What's a nod? I think I might be one, but just wanted to be sure.

Stephens very good today and Salisu very solid. Not the most threatening opposition, but both look good in this formation. Adams and Tella also did well.
-
And Salisu for Bednarek

Nice reply. It's my opinion and I disagree with yours but don't call it rubbish. Ralph isn't coaching them to be incapable of doing the basics.

There's not much he can do when so many of the team play so badly. Some of the passing and control - or lack of it - has been shocking.
