Just read the news. My condolences to all of Markus's family on this devastating news. He saved our club, without him we would have nothing. It was his club and should always be remembered as such and I am sure an appropriate method to achieve this will be announced in due course which will be supported by all of us. I will always have that wembly moment when he was using his camera, beaming away proud of his club in my memory. What a great man.

I thought he had a good debut but like everyone else after a while seemed to play follow the leader and forgot to give us width.

I agree Hammond looked too ineffectual to be what we need in midfield. Puncheon looked worse than he is by all the balls he received in the air. I thought Dickson made a good debut and Lallana a good appearance.

Travelled all the way up from PLYMOUTH with my daughter to watch the match. Well we are not looking forward to going to work on monday now having given the goal to them which was the only way they were going to score. We thought our play lacked any intelligence or direction, it appeared we forgot that Lambert was NOT leading the line and proceeded to attack largely in the air for most of the game. It was just embarrassing seeing our 3 shorties up front trying to get the ball in the air almost universally without success. I am sure Lambert would have made the difference but as has been said by many without him we struggle. The other problem was that Plymouth denied us space in the middle and we had noone there who could deal with it. We need a good CM asap. Well that is my first post I felt I needed to get some value out of today! However I remain optimistic and will come up again hoping for better.
