I abused Nivea on Twitter last time I saw that advert. Told them I wouldn't buy their products again (not that I did anyway). No idea if they noticed but it made me feel better. It really does him no favours at all.

This. Had exactly the same thought when I heard about the injury. Don't think David Busst ever played again?
-
Lol. That'll be once he's climbed off his sister in law.... Allegedly.

Was Romeu already shaven headed or has he just done that?

Nice to see the ball on the deck. Think we've managed more passes to feet already than in 90 minutes on Thursday.

Just spoke to the ticket office. According to him, we definitely CAN'T give our ID to someone else to collect the ticket. If we can't make it to the hotel between 12-5 alternative arrangements will be made. I'm due a call back from the TO manager as I'm unlikely to make it there by 5 due to flights etc. Apparently midtjylland won't provide ticket collection facilities at the ground. If it's gonna be this much hassle for each away game if we get through on Thursday I don't know if I can be @rsed. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Palace away on Boxing Day - still got my free scarf somewhere. Worked really well for most of the match, as warnock was playing a 4-4-2 formation so it meant we dominated midfield.

I had one of those when we were in the championship &. League one. I was spoilt for choice with attacking midfield and strikers, but really struggled for decent defenders and a keeper. Kind of tells the tale of why we went down in 05. Kind of given up on it now as it always feels wrong celebrating any goals scored against Saints.

I spent a lot of time working in the Netherlands in the mid-90s, but only learnt two Dutch phrases as their English is embarassingly perfect: Thank You = Danke Val (phonetic spelling) Please = Ass Du Bleef (ditto) I also managed to offend a Dutchwoman when buying a train ticket at Schiphol by asking if she spoke English - "Of course" she replied - a phrase you will hear the Dutch say a lot.

Try the Forth Hotel on Pink Lane. It's a back alley that takes you from the station up towards the ground. Not been I there for a couple of years, but previously it was a really good studenty style real ale bar, and I think they did food. It's current description is real ale gastropub.

Think it would be a game for the match fixing investigators.

Indeed. Fair play to them. Glad for the Bournemouth fans I know, who generally don't give it the big one. First ground I ever went to, bizarrely my Dad took me to Bournemouth vs Blackburn in about 1973. Of course it's a new ground now since they flipped the pitch around.

Good guess Steve http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150427-manchester-city-southampton-tickets-2426975.aspx

Any idea when tickets will go on sale for this? All the others are now on sale, and the game is now less than four weeks away. Would be nice to know when they'll be sending them out. Anything to do with Sky deciding which games to cover on the final day?

I just tweeted Simon Peach (journalist for AP) to ask him the same question, he said he'd look into it.

Just rewound and it was "buck up". Despite our very slim chance of catching City for 4th spot, I'd have preferred City to win the Derby. Most United fans I know up here are bad losers and graceless winners, and are unbearable after a derby win. Had to laugh at Gary "unbiased" Neville's description of Utd's 3rd as "on the edge of offside". If we had TV reviews then this game would now be 2-2.

My first thoughts too. If he'd stayed they might have been down by the time we played them. Hope they go for someone soon so the honeymoon effect has worn off by the time they play us. Think Poyet could now be a busted flush - left Brighton after the dressing room turd incident having missed out in the playoffs, then a frankly underwhelming stint at Soonland. 4 wins all season, Christ can you imagine what this board would be like?

I'd forgotten what a good punch that was.

My cousin works for BBC worldwide, the guys that sell the overseas rights to Top Gear, Wolf Hall, etc. Their top three earners are, in descending order: 1 Top Gear 2 Doctor Who 3 Strictly Come Dancing Therefore the Beeb have a big conundrum here. Do they kill the goose and egg altogether, or do they sack Clarkson and try to replace him? Personally I think he's a tw4t, but it is *his* show when alls said and done. You couldn't imagine them continuing with Hammond, May and a.n. Other, whoever that might be. I think he'll have a massive rollicking, perhaps be fined, but will ultimately be allowed to continue. As for the programme itself, it went off the boil when they started manufacturing too many "situations", around the time of the burning caravan stunt. They've definitely run out of ideas and are just rehashing old ones. Bit like Soccer A.M.

Never mind Shades of Grey, try Shades of Gray. Some quality reviews on Amazon for this old book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Shades-Gray-Andy/dp/0356122220

Any idea when the final will be? I'd hope to make the short trip (for me) up to Ewood Park to watch the away leg. I did try looking on the OS, but that site gets worse and worse for actually finding anything useful like information on upcoming matches. Great if you want to use lots of CPU and drain your laptop's battery though.
