This would be ridiculous if the PL allow this at less than two weeks notice. All the cheap train tickets for this kickoff time will be long gone. I know of several people who've already bought their train tickets to travel down from Northern England, already complicated by the fact that Euston is shut for the whole weekend. I was planning to drive some of the way to a station that's around an hour from London. However if this kickoff does move, I'll be having to leave home around 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning. If I'd known this in advance, I wouldn't have bought a ticket.

yes. that's the one. Don't think I ever found out his name, just his nickname. He also joined us on our guided day trip to Jerusalem and swimming in the the Dead Sea. Top day out that was - 40 degrees at the Dead Sea site. Glad it wasn't him - he didn't strike me as a troublemaker at all, more of a gentle giant.

Did anyone get a good look at the Forest fan? If he is who I think he might be, he's mid 40s or older, quite a big chap (height and waist) has black hair and a big bushy black beard.

Not seen anyone post this, so apologies if it's already been said. Best chant of yesterday in the crowd might not have made it onto the radio commentary: "Frank Lampard, your uncles a ****"

Even worse than Stoke. At least Stoke has a couple of pubs where you can drink in peace. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

My current pub plan for Wolves is to drink at a cracking pub in West Brom called the Vine, on Roebuck Street. We've used it for years before games v the Baggies. It does great ales and excellent curries. As West Brom are away at Preston it should be a bit quieter than normal. It takes 20 minutes to The Hawthorns from that pub, and 40 minutes to Molineux, if you use the Kenrick Park tram stop about 5 minutes walk from the Vine, so it just means you leave the pub at 2ish rather than 2.30. The tram ticket to Wolves is about 3-4 quid. If coming from the south or East, catch the train from Brum to the Hawthorns or Smethwick Halton Bridge, or the tram goes direct from New Street to Kenrick Park. Coming From the north, as I'll be, I plan to get a train to Wolves, then get a tram from wolves to Kenrick Park. I certainly prefer the idea to getting aggro in unwelcoming Wolves pubs. Agree on Lemina. He had one of his shockers today. We went to 3 at the back AFTER going 3 goals down. Bit late then. Agree on Yoshida. Must be looking at Hoedt and thinking WTF. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

So why can't it be Everton v Saints on Wednesday, Liverpool v Chelsea on Tuesday? Or have I missed something. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk -
That's a "Ryan Giggs friendly" type injury if ever I saw one

Apart from the cross straight onto Long's head that Shane failed to bury towards the end?

One rumour I've heard from inside the club is that it was agreed that he'd go to City for 62M, and was delighted to be going there, then Les went back to Liverpool and told them, so Liverpool upped it to 75M and Les said thanks very much, that 13M pays Celtics sell-on fee. Apparently VvD is now disappointed to be ending up at Liverpool after all. What a shame, couldn't happen to a nicer tw&t.

that's quality. cant believe what you can see for free

Amen to this. I've got family in Brighton/Hove and was hoping to have a nice day out on the Saturday to the match, followed by a family outing type day on the Sunday and then the train home. Now we're playing the early kickoff on Sunday, that puts paid to doing much else on the Sunday, and I've just found out that trains back to London that day will be all cocked up with engineering works - Rail Replacement buses between Brighton and Three Bridges. :scared:

If you're planning to travel to what will be our first away game of the season, now that the Wet Spam game has moved to March, be aware that there are no trains out of Euston on the 26th and 27th August, due to prep work for the massive waste of money that is HS2. If coming direct from So'ton, you should be OK, as long as you catch a train via Birmingham, but anyone coming from London will be routed out of Kings Cross via a change at Leeds/Wakefield. It won't add a huge time to your journey, but the trains will be busier as everyone else has to avoid Euston trains too. more details here: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/164501.aspx Of course, us Northern Saints will have a nice short trip on a Bank Holiday weekend to a town with loads of quality real ale boozers, starting with the two on the station itself.:D

Some twitter accounts I've just started following: @RogueSNRadvisor @RoguePOTUSStaff @AngryWHStaffer Last one posted this about Syria bombing: Putin gave POTUS the ok to bomb Syria. He had to ask for his permission. Let that sink in. Our President asking Russia for permission!

Normally, once anyone moves on from the role of White House Director of Communications, they get a plum job elsewhere in Washington, or get invited to give speeches or go on talk shows. In this case, I reckon he'll get invited to speech therapy school. As a pupil.

I've never seen that footage before. Truly horrendous. Did Theismann ever play again? -
Watched this about a month after the Tel Aviv trip. Quite brilliant docu and truly worrying - how Israeli Jews can have politics bordering on fascism I find gobsmacking.

A superb read, as ever Glen/Billy. This sentence summed up my feelings perfectly: "In 2003 we all stayed in the stadium and watched Arsenal pick up a cup but there's no ****ing way I'm staying here to watch these ****s. Our boys have already come over to clap the fans so as soon as they've gone up the steps to receive their losers medals, we’re out of there."

Shame he's not playing today - he could have done us a favour with some juicy tackles on Pogba/Ibra etc.
