if you google hcdajfu, you get this as the first result: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=HCDAJFU

I hope not - it smacks of a closed shop for the top 2 flights. 2 reasons it's quite unlikely:

Will be going to Sheff Wed (only an hour on the train for us in Manchester) & the Burnley home game. Hoping to get a ticket for Forest, but now looking less likely I guess

how about tour de france: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPowpIRVOuY

according to http://www.footballgroundguide.com/nottingham_forest/ What Is It Like For Visiting Supporters? Up to 4,750 away fans can be accommodated in the lower tier of the Bridgford Stand, where the facilities and view of the action are good. I personally did not have any problems at the City Ground, but I have heard of away fans getting some hassle; for example it has not been unknown for the odd object to be thrown down on away fans from so called Forest fans seated above. Don't be surprised also if the stewards keep asking you to sit down if you stand in the seated areas, which can get annoying. There are also an element of Forest supporters in the 'A' Block of the Main Stand nearest to the away supporters, who feel it is their duty to continually berate away fans during the game, which can be unsavoury. It is also advised to keep colours covered around the ground, especially if you support another Midlands team. The good news though is that away fans can really make some noise from this stand, so make the most of it! So we could have over 4.5K there, wearing hard hats. Have a feeling that's more than were at Derby for the play-offs 2 yrs ago.

Check this site and scroll half way down to see that this highest we managed in 06/07 was 3rd, just after beating Burnley 3-2 away. http://stats.football365.com/2007/ENG/teams/Southampton.html

Stacy Rollings - currently 14th but we can probably get her further down the list by voting for some of the others, or just give her one (star!). http://www.skysports.com/socceram/soccerettes/0,21655,13874_4944374,00.html All bias aside - she's about average for the Soccerette (terrible name).

plenty of shots of her looking quite "innocent" here: have to say her latest song has me hooked at the mo' - great tune and v. sharp lyrics - taking the **** out of "celeb culture": Is it just me, or does the song remind anyone else of The Lightning Seeds?

Who will you support if Saints go really under ?
stockportsaint replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Indeed - think I counted 8 ex-Saints in their squad the other day. Just need to get them to change their shorts from white to black and we're sorted. Probably have to be the mighty Stockport County for me - I could walk to home games in 30 minutes, make a bit of a change from a 400+ mile round trip -
Defo think they need some new ideas, most weeks it's the same jokes/themes again and again. Quite glad Lovejoy left - that man is the biggest ***t in the football media circus (and that takes some doing). However, they do still occasionally come up with a moment of genius - yesterday this spoof Dairy Milk ad had me howling with laughter: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fjG_Occs9Cs

Agreed - I thought so too. We got pretty much bang on 5 minutes coverage. They'd done their research and interviewed the right people - Crouch, Armstrong etc. Seemed quite a balanced report. It's a lot more than we used to get on MOTD back in the old days of the Premiership, when we were usually last game on and got 2 minutes coverage.

Personally I would like to see Spurs relegated more than Pompey - think Pompey will go down next season if they don't go this season - I believe I heard they have 16 players out of contract at the end of the season, and they are in nearly as big financial doo-doo as we are, but with a far bigger wages bill. So if they do stay up, they'll be shafted next season. My 3 favourite candidates for relegation this season would be, in ascending order of priority: Newcastle - see how many "die hards" they get in Div2 - would finally nail the media myth that they're a "massive club". Pompey - obviously Spurs - to nail the Redknapp lie - don't think he could airbrush that one out like he has taking us down.

According to that august journal The Echo, if he plays for us then he can't go on loan again abroad this season, only to another English club: http://m6live.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4022102.Saints_in_quandary_over_Saganowski/ Personally I hope he does play for us, will that extra £150K bankrupt us? Would getting relegated cost us more than the £150K his wages will cost for the rest of the season? Not sure when his contract runs out - hoping it's the end of this season.

Oh, my picture's been replaced...... by a train
stockportsaint replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
I'm almost speechless at the pettiness (for that's what it is) of the current board. Given Rupert's preference for shooting, shouldn't they have replaced the Lawrie Mac picture with this: -
+2 - Get in Pippo my son. P*mpey - 1 point from 2 UEFA games. Will they scrape into the top 3?
-
Hmm - not used it for a few weeks, now I get the username prompt too. Bloody corporate money-grabbing b@stards. Wonder if we'll still have to subscribe to SaintsTV when we're in League Two? BOOOOOOOOO Could try Five Live extra - they're covering the Cardiff Reading game, but you'll get more CCC updates than the Champs League love-in on Radio five: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/fivesportsextra.shtml
-
Radio Link for those out of the area - no promises, as it's a bit flakey if not on Windoze and Internet Explorer: http://matchlive.safc.premiumtv.co.uk/mlex/258741/matches/10172006/2686762/match_console.html?clubid=undefined Choose 'Change Match' - choose the Saints game, then look in bottom left corner for Audio on button

Damn, you beat me to it - that was going to be my prediction too.

If you've got half an hour to spare, this is the best assessment of how this mess has happened, and what we should do about it. It's not easy reading, but Will Hutton's analysis is usually spot on, and certainly clarified for me how a lot of the current turmoil came to be, including a relatively non-technical explanation of what securitisation and hedge funds actually are. There have certainly been some very dodgy practices in the City in recent years. Best read in order. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2008/oct/05/creditcrunch.marketturmoil1 http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2008/oct/05/banks.marketturmoil

No way that was a cross, as others have suggested. Top drawer goal, and they would have been all over it on SSN if it had been scored by Joe Cole or Rooney etc. You can see from how he reacts that he definitely meant it. On that evidence, a v. good swap for Nathan Dyer, although he himself scored one quite similar at Watford last season as I recall - but that was last season, before he got crocked by some Leicester(?) thug, and never really came back as good. V. soft penalty mind, the red card must have been for words said rather than deeds done. You'd defo not be happy if they gave that against you.
-
It's from 15:48 - 16:13 - a whopping 25 seconds. Then you need to stop it quickly as they then spend 3:09 minutes talking about Pompey, Sol Campbell, and their UEFA Cup trip to Portugal, but no actual footage. still, at least we got on, doubt if Skate TV aka Meridian showed us at all. Incidentally, is Meridian News one of the many being axed by ITV? Be sweet if so.

Obviously I hope Europe win again, but Faldo really is a ****.

I first used this board back in 2001, in the old Network54 days, on dial-up, and have been a regular visitor ever since. However in the last year or two, especially since the demise of SaintsForever, I'm afraid that this response is exactly the reason why I choose to spend most of my free time more productively these days. Whether I pay £5 or not to post inane drivel on this board doesn't make what I have to say any more or less worthwhile. I can read all the posts I want without paying my fiver BTW, so I do know how many windup ITKers there are on here. As for the original post - the fact that he posted a photo of him in the Sky studio means he's not just another ITK wind-up merchant. If he then chooses to keep us guessing as to his source, well it's unlikely to have come from Paul Merson or Charlie Nicholas, surely he doesn't have to spell out exactly who it came from, especially in these more litigious days, perhaps his source asked him to keep it under his hat. The muppets are the people who correct his grammar and spelling - this is not an English homework essay, he's not writing a novel or a textbook, it's simply a virtual "pub", where people exchange news, opinions and gossip. If you corrected the grammar of many pub-goers on a regular basis, you'd likely end up in hospital.

Love the way MLT never wears a tie when he appears on this show, whereas everybody else seems to. Please ignore the muppets on here trying to wind you up - the fact that you were actually in the Sky studio and have evidence to prove it gives more weight to your gossip than all the hundreds who claim to be "in the know", then go on to post total BS. I had hoped that the £5 thing would have weeded most of them out, but unfortunately not. As one of my colleagues put it: "Before the internet came along, there were lots of weirdos who had to keep themselves to themselves as they had no way of finding other like-minded weirdos. Then we get the world wide web, which allows them to get together and create a "community" of weirdos. I can't be bothered to pay the £5 myself, and mostly stick to Saintslist for my Saints news - it might have less "edge", but you don't get people deliberately on the wind-up, or if you do, they quickly get kicked off the list.

Never saw any trouble at Bristol Rovers myself. Mind you, I didn't see the trouble at Bristol City either, but by all accounts that was mainly in a pub that a Saints fan I know who used to live in Bristol said he wouldn't go in at the best of times.
