As usual with these 'PC Gone Crazy' stories, it's all a load of b0ll0cks. Salisbury Council have done no such thing... http://www.salisbury.gov.uk/news/display-press-release.htm?id=2008-11-10-a.asp But I did have to go to the 2nd page on Google to find that out. The first page was full of reports from the Daily Hate and the Tellalie.

He's saying you're an ignorant *****, and the pride you seem to take in displaying it is entirely misplaced. I agree with him.

The Yo Majesty album. There are at least 3 good tunes on it.

Can there be a 'F**k off, why won't you just f**k off?!' award? Also a 'Sausage Fingers' award?

This is madness. Stupid madness. They must all be willies.

Bam! Back when they called it 'Amyl House'.

If you like the Coldcut one, you'll probably dig it.

FabricLice? I had to throw the sofa away. Solid Steel presents DJ Food & DK.

I can only hope my own life is as fondly remembered. Agreed.

All fair points I think. But she also needs to look closer to home and consider politicians dressing up every event, decision, u-turn and trangression as an unequivocally Good Thing for the public. Many of us are not idiots. We'd prefer it (and actually respect you more) if you told us when you'd ****ed up, changed your mind, or were doing something we won't like for an evaluated greater good.

And most would have voted for him because he's not the Republican candidate. The big deal is that the USA, a nation built on racism with racism at it's core, has finally got past that huge mental block. Well done that country!

No they won't, because 'white' in this instance refers to the colour of the actual house (i.e. it's a white house) rather than the skin tone of the residents. So, unless they give the whole place a coat of paint or some sort of cladding, it will probably remain The White House. Do you see?

Finally, some sense in all this madness. p.s. I take it up the whoopsie. p.p.s. Not the sandwich. p.p.p.s. The ****. p.p.p.s.s.s. Is the noise my whoopsie makes.

Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid, Pekinpah at his curmudgeonly best, all death and change and railing the man. And droopy 70s breasts.

This bit gave me a wry smile... "Problems for voters whose homes are in the process of being repossessed, or foreclosed, meaning their address may no longer match their registration details and they can only cast a provisional ballot" A more cynical man than I might spot a correlation between those directly affected by Republican financial policy and those eligible to democratically express their dipleasure.

Norwaysaint thinks 20 is 'Mmm skyscraper, I love you' by Underworld, but he hasn't got any posts left. I agree with Norwaysaint but will allow him all the glory.

I work in recruitment. Any chance I can pocket my budget, tell our agency to do one and just run all my work through here? I have paid my fiver...

I'm just reaching the point where I'm being foot-noted to 2 or 3 appendices for each sentence of actual 'plot'. I'm treating it as a game, kind of like those Choose Your Own Adventure books.

House of Leaves, by Mark Z Danielewski. Which is the increasingly paranoid notes written in the margins of an academic evaluation of a (possibly) fictional documentary about a house which contains shifting portals to paranormal depthless underground dimensions. It's massive, complicated, many layered, frightening... part psychological thriller, part critique of literary critique, or something. I think it might be brilliant but I'm not sure yet. I do know it weighs a bloody ton.

That would be amazing! Although I'd expect it to be largely just a man, stood in a field of rye at dawn, listening to voices in his head.

The most disturbing violent/blood thirsty film you've ever seen.

Save The Green Planet is a good one. The sheer gleefullness of it makes it the more shocking. -
There was money at his disposal which he didn't spend (didn't we have big bids in for players who didn't want to come?). His scattershot approach to signing players on reputation didn't have time to take effect. And the only decent player he did bring in was his son, who was crocked. I don't think you can blame Lowe for a lack of funds, but he was ultimately in charge of hiring the man.

What about the ones who blow up abortion clinics and murder doctors?
