It's unseemly that those with well paid, executive jobs feel the need to belittle others because of the work they do. Not everyone is going to be a high flyer like Turkish, but I applaud those who work hard to provide for their families. I remember the days when football was a working mans game, now it just seems to be dominated by high flying executives like Turkish who look down on the working classes.

I'd imagine that met people just don't know what to do. If they sing a song there'll be someone saying "oh what an embarrassing song", if they wear their replica tops, there'll be someone telling them that they've ruined terrace fashion, if they dress up Christmassy they'll be told they're gimps. It's probably safer jus to go and stand there quietly, without moving or looking at anyone else. Im sure dell days would have agreed.

I seem to remember some people suggesting we wouldn't get promoted from L1 and then from the championship. Nothing ever goes right for us. We're always going to be rubbish. We'll never get promoted, we will always get relegated, we always buy the wrong players, we always have the worst managers etc.

He's the worst players ever, so is Rodriguez, so is Mayuka and yoshida. Adkins is the worst manager in the PL.

I think what he might be suggesting is that Mayuka has played 45 minutes, hasn't been that good but thats now his Saints career written off by some on here because that's how short sighted some people are. Although I might be wrong.

Problem is, how much would they have cost? I'd like to have Phillips as well, but you're looking at £7m+ for these players. We may have a bit of moe, but we're not in the same league as some teams when it comes to buying young players for lots of money and then slowly introducing them (although we appear to be doing that with JR).
