Just back from my holibobs so this will be my 1st game of the season can't wait as many have said a draw would be a good result but we are on a run so fingers crossed we can keep it up Ipswich look to have good side & are many pundits tip for promotion should be a good game coys. So pleased we have managed to take last seasons excellent form through into this season what a refreshing change we are not normally good starters in the league how good it is to be a Saint right now

Agreed DD this would also by my midfield if we can hang on to Chambo get a another quality striker & centre back I think we have a really good side that will compete & challenge next season

Not happy about the price increase but i will renew I have been a member there for the last 4 seasons it is handy you can have a drink out of a glass right up to kick off if you want the food is good & it is a good place to meet with your mates & watch the early sky game on a big screen. Due to the restrictions on numbers it is quite easy to get served quickly the place could be a lot better than it is but for me I find it handy bit miffed it has gone up as much as it has a 37% increase is a bit steep

I think Jack Cork will help defensively we need another centre back Jaidi was quality last season & will do a great job when up against a big lump but will struggle against pace so we do need a partner for Fonte. We have got very good attacking options & a lot of players scored for us I do think we need another quality striker Barny will be spending some time away shame we didnt get makailsmith

There was a steady flow renewing at lunchtime yesterday me & my Dad got ours I dont think our ST are overpriced I would have thought that we are on par with most championship clubs my ticket works out at £20 per game so not bad looking forward to the season COYS

Good signing very happy he can play midfield centre back & right back so gives us options him & Morgan could make a very good centre midfield good work thats started the transfer ball rolling now a centre back striker with some pace & a tricky pacey winger please

Fantastic signing for Brighton I wish we had got him blistering pace & what a engine keeps running at pace all game would have been just what we need. I know it is early days & fingers crossed we can get the players we want but early signs are not good on the transfer front has NA got the pull to attract top players ? I really like Nigel thought he did a great job the only question I have about him is can he do the business in the transfer market time will tell.

Not to concerned about promotion the league is wide open I think we will do well top half maybe a tilt at the play offs. I am relaxed & confident that we will do alright which is nice we have no pressure on us we are not the bookies favourites like last season Norwich Leeds & Millwall prooved that decent League 1 sides can do well. With the squad we have I think mid table top halfish with some quality additions we would be right in the mix West Ham are spending Nolan is a fantastic signing if we are going to compete we need to get some top quality additions. Really looking forward to the season it will be very interesting & ultra competative bring it on we will do ok

This league has to be the most competative in the world I cant see anybody running away with & there 7 or 8 clubs that could win it & even more fighting for the play offs. West Ham Brum Forest Leicester Leeds Cardiff Reading you could go on & on can't see any easy game I think we are going to have get off to a decent start & stay in the mix it is wide open this league confidence will have a huge part to play I am looking forward to it.

Have to agree with the OP I have 3 Daughters & a Wife none of them get Football always moaning about me going, dont understand why I leave at 12.30 for a game that starts at 3 & get home at 7 2 hours after it has finished & they really dont understand away days. Football is a chance to escape have fun with your mates & let off steam long may it continue Up the Saints you are not alone Jackanory

I hope he stays he is a great prospect & another season with us would do both the club & the player a lot of good what is the point going to Arsenal Man U City ect to maybe sit on the bench & play in the league cup. He has had 1 good season it is way to early to go better to devolp & play games get experience & show that he can still look a player at a higher level

I guess for the good of the club we need to be back in the prem but the lower leagues have reminded me what Football is about There is a lot to be said about going to Football 3pm Saturday seeing your team compete & win more than they lose watching players that have some connection with the club & have come through the ranks The club has to progress & I would really enjoy watching us gain another promotion I wouldnt mind if we could do a WBA promotion every other year would be fun

Fantastic news DC is quality his runs & movement 1st class & a great finisher he did very well for us towards the end of this season scored some important goals. He will also be a very good experienced man to be around the squad the rest of our fowards could all learn from him very happy we have him for next season

The Championship is going to be very very competative next season a lot of big clubs with prem ambition however I expect us to make a few decent quality signings & be in the shake up I would like to think we can make the play offs. I am not saying Norwich have done it so we must be able to things are never that simple but I think we have momentum we have a good squad that if we can keep it in tact & add some quality Championship we will more than hold our own next season

I think he is a good player the 1st season he was with us he did well fair enough he had a few dodgy games this season however he always showed for the ball even when he wasnt playing well he is defo good enough for the Championship not sur about the prem. It seems it is his attitude that is wrong so for that reason alone lets cash in he dosent want to be a Saint so lets get as much dosh as poss but on Football ability he would have been worth having. It is not worth having players at our club that are not on Nigels Bus shame his attitude is p1ss poor but hey ho onwards & upwards lets get someone in with better ability & better attitude then we will all be happy

I hope the Swans go up to the Prem it was only 3 seasons ago they were league 1 they play decent football & I have a mate who is a Swans fan. Cardiff can do 1 they are a horrible club with nasty fans how they got away with playing Bellamy when they cant pay there bills is beyond me they are the Skates of Wales. I would like to see the Cherries go up to the Championship as my Nephew is scholar with them & it will be a brilliant effort to get back to back promotion however I do accept a large proportion of there fans are nobs & they hate us muppets if not Cherries then Posh as I have a Posh supporting mate & they have been good value & entertainment this season

& the lambo song I dont know if people are unsure of the words but if they use a genral rule of just slowing down all songs things would be better

I would give all of them a contract Connolly is quality his movement & touch are 1st class & he looked really fit Jaidi has been a rock he may not play every game next season but his experience is well worth having in & around the squad Harding well worth another deal Butterfield great steady squad player with experience Gobern jury is still out but worth a deal might well make it Martin very good prospect get him signed & out on loan to learn his trade he is 1 for the future

There have been many great atmospheres at St marys Saturday was great it could be miles better if people dont rush the songs they seem to think there is a prize for getting to the end of the songs before it has begun properly. PLEASE slow down OWTS when sung properly is a anthem it is our song lets get it right ffs

It has been a fantastic run dont forget the pressure has really been on us we have been every teams cup final a Saints team that don't crack under pressure now that is something new & exciting. The come back against MK Dons was the defining moment of the season for me coming back from 2 down to win the team really took the positives from that game & pushed on. I have really enjoyed this league been to some quality away days Bristol Rovers 5 1 Morgan scored what a night Southend in the hammering rain the start of we always win 3 1 M K Dons JPT semi we got more fans than you lol Orient Lambo brace Yeovil Barny last second winner to keep the play off dream alive briefly & many more in our 1st season in league 1 & to cap it winning the JPT & seeing what a massive support we have quality. This season Dagenham Bournemouth & Brentford stand out Brentford a beer in all 4 pubs & the best atmosphere since Derby play off semi quality there has been a lot to like about this league been to some proper old school football grounds met some proper football fans there are no plastics or corporate in this league it has been nice to get back to grass roots loved it going to every game thinking we would win brill

Dont know if has been posted already but I have been told that the club hope to have Mrs Liebherr at the game so all the tribute efforts will go down very well the last few away games I have been at there have prolonged chants for Marcus Brentford being a good example. It will be good to show our warmth & respect for the man that saved the Saints.

Fair play to Adkins he has been under pressure since day 1 nothing but promotion was acceptable & after the start we had & the amazing run Udders have been on he has done a great job very pleased for him. He was not the big name Manager we thought we would get but he has been brill any other season we would have won this league very glad he proved many wrong including me well done Nigel

I have really enjoyed League 1 we have won a trophy day out at Wembley won a promotion for the 1st time in 33 years been to some interesting grounds it has been a blast. Mock all you want but league 1 is about proper real football fans no corporate nonsense or plastic fans just decent football people that support there local team. I am glad we experienced League & also glad we are promtoted out of it but it has done us all more good than bad looking forward to seeing compete in the championship but frankly you can stick the prem up your arse football should be 3pm Saturday. I really hope we can kick on & do a WBA bouncing between Championship & Prem must be exciting promotion every other season I could live with. Really enjoyed League 1
