  1. He has always flatered to deceive the odd flash of quality but never delivered with any consistantcy at all he is not sh1t that is the annoying thing and before you ask I was at the games mentioned and he wasnt mom imhop until he is fit and his head is right dont play him in my book
  2. Fair play to you love the enthusiasm I will be as always UTS
  3. I dont think Rudi has ever shown his quality for us his head isnt right and he cant be fit so dont play him I say stick with Dyer or play DMG wide and Pekhart up front
  4. He is our ray of hope good first touch loads of skill and vision how good was that goal I hope we can hang on to him but I think we will have to cash in to survive lets hope we are wrong
  5. It was a cracking day out last season a lot of Saints fans great atmosphere in the pubs before the game and in the ground good banter with the Rangers fans I am looking forward to it COYR
  6. You have a point lack of money and apathy towards the club will have an affect but IF we can get a few results our attendances will undoubtley rise and to date they have been affected by Sky kick off times and Holidays
  7. I would bring Cork in at right back Stern John up front and play DMG wide right I think these changes are justified and if Gillett is having a mare like against blackpool bring on Wotton pdq
  8. Good point also in August at lot of people are still away on Holiday I missed the Brum game as I was away on holiday a few 3 pm saturday kick offs now holiday season is over and we will get a better idea of attendances this season
  9. I have bought my ST but I wont be going to as many away games as I have the last two seasons and I wont be spending as much on pre match refreshment for the first time in years I now have to carefully consider before spending Boooo it is rubbish
  10. Blimey I find my self agreeing with you well said Saints and England all the way
  11. I guess it depends what you call success I would rather watch local talent giving 100% effort challenging for a play off place than overpaid foriegn mercenaries getting thrashed in the prem every week like Derby. If on the otherhand we had the oppurtunity to do a Man City or Chelsea and buy the best players in the world and win things I say bring it on I guess we can dream
  12. I hope his given all the time he needs wasnt that happy when he came in and we got rid of Pearson but now he is here and I have seen the way we are playing and that we might bring our youngsters through I think he needs a season to get the team to gel and next season will see us push on.
  13. Call me old fashioned I want to see good attacking passing football with a young mainly british team that wins more often than not I would like the exitement of a play off place but am not bothered if we dont get in the prem I dont want to know who or what the board are doing as long as it is for the good of the club/team. I think by default and lack of money we might be on the right track now lets hope so !
  14. I agree thought DMG was great only just pipped for MOM by Kelvin for me I thought he should have played Cork at right back and subbed Gillett earlier clearly wasnt his day as for tactics I dont think we have any other than go out and play our quick passing game which is brilliant to watch when it is coming off but there will be a number of days when it dosent this was 1 of them
  15. I agree I like what Jan has to say on the whole but I dont think you can say 1 day that the lads want and can play everyday then blame tiredness for a defeat there was some good Football and if only we had taken our chances but we looked very vunerable on the break and the passing never really got going 3 or 4 players not at it today Gillett looked great against Brum had a very poor game Spiderman looks a player but not on Saturday Killer looked well below par lack of pace didnt win his headers White poor game our young side needs everybody at it for a quick incisive passing game to work
  16. Fantastic news the lad has got talent I am very pleased to see him sign a new contract I am gonna have a few quid on him for 1st goal tomorrow go on the boy Lallana
  17. I cant stand lowe and wish he would feck off however I would never let my feelings towards the board stop me from supporting the team I dont care about the whys or where we are playing the kids the point is they are playing for the Saints and playing good attractive football they deserve our support and it is enjoyable to watch so get down to St marys and suport our TEAM COYR
  18. I will be happy with any win I predict 2-0 to the mighty Saints I am looking forward to the game COYR
  19. I think that like us most teams think they can win every game it is such a open league I am not saying they will play all out attacking football but I dont think they will park the team bus in front of the goal either I am sure our boys will stay patient and find a way through coyr
  20. I thought the whole team played great with confidence and no fear dont think we lumped it up the field at all tonight they where great at retaining possesion and had brum chasing shadows Gillet was like a paul scholes always wanted the ball good range of passing i know spiderman was playing out of position but he looks a proper player llalana is magic great goal holmes full of running and energy wotton grate game really enjoyed it more of the same please
  21. I was 1 that questioned how well we will do in this league with kids trying to play total football i am happy to say the two games i have seen have been a pleasure to watch they are playing free flowing football with no fear and i like it. However this is 1 of the toughest legeaus in europe and we will need a plan B anyone who went to Blackpool last season will know we cant play this football in those conditions but at the moment lets enjoy the great football the kids are playing and get behind the team coyr
  22. The thing that is great about the Championship is it not a two horse race as Hull prooved last season if you can get a run going any team can be in the mix for promotion like wise as Leeds have prooved if you get on a loosing run anyone can get relegated it is such a open League. That said if we are top half and challenging for a play off spot I would see that as success this season I havent lost hope yet but our young side needs 3 points and some confidence to kick start the season and get them on the right track.
  23. Ive been went to watch Inter play Foirentina 6 years ago inter won 4-2 great game great stadium and atmosphere the top tier of the home stand moves when they all start jumping and they have nutters hanging off top tier with bull horns to get the songs going when foirentina came out the Inter fans unfurled a banner that must have been 30' long and said simply Bastardos quality traffic round the ground is mental get to the ground in plenty of time.
  24. Having been away on holiday and missing the first game where the corners have been closed i was wondering how it has affected the atmosphere in the ground is it the opinion of the majority it is has had a negative affect i guess in the coming weeks i will find out for my self but i am interested to know what people think.
  25. I know it is early in the season to start talking about vital points but if we are going to be safe this season we need to start getting some confidence 3 points at Derby would do just that COYR
