  1. I thought we played well should have won comfortably if we fininshed better if we conceeded as many chances we would have been 2 or 3 down got to be more clinical in front of goal. Thought Jason Euell was great MOM for me and great finish by DMG crying shame we didnt get the 3 points. UTS!
  2. I hope you are wrong but after Saturdays P1ss poor performance I fear you may be right the boys have no confidence what so ever we lack leadership shape to our play and pashion. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE prove me wrong relegation would be horrible
  3. A lot of people on here questioned wether this style of football with kids would work in this league there have been glimmers of hope that it might after 1 or 2 decent performances but I think we now know that it wont work with the personel we have got. The youngsters we have who are clearly talented are not big and strong enough for this league we lack a shape to our play we are so open to the counter attack it is scary we are playing inexperienced players out of position and we lack cutting edge. we have to change something and I am beging to think that it may have to be JP
  4. Unlucky you are having a laugh I was there and it should have been 6 easily we didnt create a single decent chance in 90 mins I have not seen such a bad performance in a long time no heart no desire no confidence no shape no hope
  5. I went in the hospitality suite with some Swansea fans I do business with and before the game I promised them our boys would play good football and it would be a close game how stupid did I look. So far this season we have been able to offer some excuses when we have been beat not this time.Swansea played the better football where stronger quicker wanted it more had more confidence and ability a shape that they kept it should have been 6 we where totaly inept. Fair play to the Swans they have a nice stadium that looked full with only 15000 in it noisey fans that generated a great atmosphere a decent team great manager they will be comfortable in this league. We look like relegation fodder the confidence has gone.
  6. I dont give a monkeys about who should be allowed to say what and on behalf of whom the fact remains that the club our club needs its supporters the Saints team needs its fans behind them so if you can afford to go and you love the Saints GO if you can't fair enough
  7. As a ST holder for a number of years it wouldnt bother me that much if the club discounted tickett prices to intice people back to St Marys may be they could offer a cup game free of charge to ST holders or some sort of incentive.
  8. I think he can keep us up we are on a massive learning curve with young inexperienced players but I think its lower mid table for us he has a huge amount of work to do defensively we are way to open but I like the passing Football and a couple of games we have looked like a good side the CCC is a tough league and we are in for a bumpy ride
  9. I think he will devolp into a very good player at centre back you need experience and as he gains it we will see progress while he is still very young particularly in that position we will see good and bad performances he would really benefit if he can learn his trade with Svenson as his partner we can only hope
  10. The only consistent thing with this young side is they will be inconsistent we will have many ups and downs this year just hope we can improve defensively we are so open it is scary but i think we will end up lower mid table and that is progress if we can keep the team together and push on for next year.
  11. A point would be a good result 1 . 1 I reckon UTS!
  12. Good post largely agree he is working well with what we have got and the kids play some nice football would like to see us defend better as a team in parts of all the games I have seen we look so exposed at the back if it wasnt for Kelvins brilliance we would be struggling would also like to see a bit of a physical precence so we dont get bullied out of games mid table would be progress.
  13. Well done to Adam he is our best player by a mile and a deserved call up I think we are watching a new Le Tiss I hope he and the club show the same commitment to each other and we can continue to see this outstanding talent develop to his full potential
  14. I agree that the boys are learning and I have no doubt we are in for a roller coaster season at times we are completley inept defensively and at times breathtaking going forward there is a lot of growing for the team to do but I think I may enjoy the ride but there will be lots of ups and downs and mid table would be success
  15. Kelvin made some awesome save last night completely changed the game at the start of the second half he rescued us after some p1ss poor defending and was MOM by a mile for me shame about a couple of his clearences/passes but otherwise top performance
  16. I will be there as per but i am gonna be getting there late hopefully just in time to see us score and get a much needed win at home COYR
  17. Can't stand Lowe but if Saints are your team and you can afford to go then go now more then ever they need our support fully understand financial implications I have cut back on some away games but I cant be doing with I am not going because I dont like this or that my god at the moment they need the crowd to be the 12th man
  18. Donny are a very good passing team I have seen them play a few times as my Dad is a Donny fan could be a very good game of football I predict 2.2
  19. It is all about balance you have to win the right to play your football in this league I dont think we should just hoof it and by pass our midfield but I dont think we should be over playing at the back and losing posession in our own half. It is up to Jan the man to get the balance right and for the players to understand when they play tight passing or hit the channels when under pressure. Do we have the players who can do this I am not sure we do at the moment
  20. Short small tiny
  21. Whilst I really enjoy watching young British players who have a affinity and some ties to the club try to play the game the right way I am begining to think that my heart is ruling my head if we are going to be safe. We are such a small side and for all our pretty passing we are lacking a cutting edge any ball in the air and we are in trouble our final ball and finishing is poor. In this league you must win the right to play your football what will we be like in the winter when the pitches get heavey and our youngsters run out of steam I hope I am wrong but this is going to be a long hard season.
  22. Cant see us keeping a clean sheet 3 - 2 to the mighty Saints
  23. anything is worth a go kids for a quid reduced tickett prices I am a season tickett holder and am not that bothered if someone gets a better deal get some bums on seats and get the feel good factor back perhaps the echo and local radio should get behind the Saints with some free advertising. Our Football club should be a bigger part of the local cummunity
  24. I thought the last 3 games he has been poor looking for the hollywood passes and not affective against Brum and Derby he was very good he needs dropping at the moment play Morgan & Wotton for me I think Gillett will come back and be a decent player for us but he needs taking out of the firing line for the next few games
  25. I love the style we are playing but can we carry on and not be so open at the back I dont think so we will have to sacrifice some style for some clean sheets . We desperatley need to win the next two games so our youngsters dont lose confidence if that go's we are in deep trouble lets hope we get a couple of results on the hurry up
