You have to say they have it about right pretty passing but cant put the ball in the net should add to that we cant defend either when we conceed a corner it is almost like giving away a pen. The sad thing is that with a decent manager and 2 or 3 decent experienced pro's we could get away playing a lot of the kids some of them will go on to be good players but playing tippy tappy football with no spine and strength is killing the lads. LOWE OUT UTS COYR !

You have a point I think the vast majority would like to see 4 -4 -2 and a couple of additions could see us ok but they need to be quality players we must have a big physical dominant centre back and a goal scoring target man in the mould of a Hulse or Steve Howard type but younger and quicker and I cant see us splashing the cash to get them in and I cant see Wupert admitting deafet with Jan and his system. When the chips are down like now you need expierenced Pro's with the character and bottle for a scrap and we havent got any at the moment

Good idea we were never gonna beat untd most prem teams get done 3 or 4 glad the distraction is out of the way we have much bigger games coming up Barnsley Donny and Norwich it would be nice to see a few thousand extra through the doors to get behind the lads this month will define the season if we are in the bottom 3 at the end of Jan I think we will go down we need a massive effort by everyone connected with the club to ensure this dont happen COYR

I think you may be right I can see Forest spending a bit of money and pulling clear of trouble I hate the short assed git Billy Davies but he has got the knack for this division if the Forest board back him this month i can see them staying up after years in the wilderness they are going to spend to stay up they wont to go backwards and are a big club with prem ambition. If we had of beat them and been 7 points clear of trouble I dont think they would have caught us but now I think we will go down and they will stay up what a let down that game was I hope I am wrong but I think its league 1 here we come

This is a massive blow we are so short at centre back and he will be helping 1 of our relegation rivals gutted I know the lad is to good for us long term but Watford FFS how sad is it if he and Chelsea see them as a better option than us. It is time for change !

I think Cork Morgan and Pearce are very good signings Holmes may turn out to be good the rest have been rubbish We need to sign a tall domiant centre back and a goal scorer urgently I am glad we have signed a full back but time will tell if he is any good

What a shame I think Pearce has been a great player for us and given us a bit of hieght that we lack and a goal threat at corners if we have lost cork as well we are going to be in trouble I cant see Killer coming in for a run of games Ollie is a good prospect but he will make mistakes Perry has been good lately but we are very light at centre back I hope we can get soeone else in on loan or we are fecked

I just dont know with our team I thought we would batter Forest I also thought we would get hammered by Reading you have to think United will roll us over by 3 or 4 without trying too hard but as I have pointed out my predictions are always wrong. I dont really mind getting hammered by United would gladly swap beatting them for 3 points but I am looking forward to the game just hope we have a go after all we have nothing to lose might as well lose 3 nil going for it rather than 1 nil trying to defend for 90 mins

The only change we will see is players that are worth some money being sold and we will sink or swim with Jan the man and who ever we cant sell no way will Wupert admit he got it wrong with the management and the whole point of having them was so we can use the kids we have already got we MAY get 1 or 2 loans in to replace those that have gone back and we will probably get Saga and Nathan back will it be enough to keep us up ? if we had beat Forest I would said yes but now I think we will go down

In a ideal world I would love to keep all 3 I can't see us being able to hold on to him on loan or buy him the lad is quality and will be playing in the prem sooner rather than later if he was another foot taller he would be the next Rio quality player

He is right the hardcore united away fans are mental dont shut up the whole game. I also agree we would be better attacking the northam second half we need to do something to try and change our home form who knows changing ends might help it couldnt make things worse

I really dont know what to make of yesterdays performance just as I make up my mind that we have got to change things to survive we put in a great performance against a very good Reading side the point has been well made that they are a PASSING side that play football and we do much better against these teams a bigger stronger more direct style we struggle against. I cant make up my mind if I want a change I think we are going down under the current manager but will anyone else be able to do any better with the players we have got we have played some nice football but this is a results business and the table dont lie. I cant see lord Lowe admitting he got it wrong so I guess we wil sink or swim with what we have got UTS !

I have to agree i thought Cork perry and Macca were brilliant Macca has had plenty of stick on here I have given him some myself but he had a great game good goal good work rate Cork is different class good enough for the prem in my book. I thought Gillett was sh1te Holmes looked knackered after 10 mins overall good performance just wish we played like that against Forest.

He is not the greatest player but a good solid experienced pro that is good to have amongst so many youngsters with injuries and suspensions he will be missed as he offers good cover at the back and in midfield

I think Lallana is a fantastic prospect and a very gifted footballer however over the last few weeks he has deserved some constructive criticism playing wide right he has been ineffective and ill disiciplined leaving us exposed down the right his corners Saturday were very poor and his final ball or shot on goal has been lacking he should be played in the hole as that is his best position but will he generate any goals ? whilst I agree we shoudnt be getting on the backs of young players at the game I think we can discuss it on here you have to agree he hasnt been at his best lately

WTF Saints fans chanting abuse at Saints fans ridiculous I am a Season Ticket holder and I didn't object to cheaper tickets I was just glad to see the ground a bit more full I dont dare why people where at the game just glad they came we have enough sh1t going on in the boardroom and on the pitch at the moment we shouldn't be having a pop at other Saints fans SMS should be a welcoming place to go and support the Saints how ever and whenever you see fit. I like to go every week and to as many away as I can but I am not getting on at people who dont at times like this we need all the support we can get and should reserve our chanting for support of the team.

I agree I dont like slating the lads but they let everybody down big time on saturday there are lots of teams in this league playing mainly youngsters and I think the there only young and they are tired excuse is wearing thin it seems to me if we are going to stay up it is time for a change. We have proven goal scorers at this level out on loan helping our rivals avoid the drop WTF it is time for a change.

I said on this thread that I thought DMG had the makings of a decent player I have to hold my hands up and say he was utter gash saturday like so many of our players he flaters to decieve very disapointed

I dont know why but I havent looked forward to a game this much for ages I know it is only early in the season but I feel a bit like I did before the Sheff utd game last season nervous and excited I understand it is going to be a big crowd I hope they are all up for it and we get a great atmosphere and performance UTS COYR GRRRRR !

Holmes is a miss he provided a real threat in wide area's I think Spiderman is top class we always look a better side when he is fit and plays when he is fit I think we should try James wide right Cork at right back Spiderman and Surman in midfield James looks decent going forward but makes to many mistakes when playing at the back but it will be good to see holmes fit and playing again

I would settle now for 4 points out of our next 3 League games Forest Plymouth Reading the forest game is key a absolute must to get 3 ponts a point at Plymouth can't see us getting anything from Reading but 4 ponts is the minimum requirement otherwise we are in the clag

I think the lads coming through are CCC standard and Surman is prem std so is Cork (i know he is on loan) I did question at the start of the season if you could play them all at once with not much in the way of senior pro and that question remains unanswered until we are safe
