I thought he was our mom looks a good buy to me fwiw I thought we played well 1st half should have been 4-2 up at half time we were p1ss poor second half clueless sustitutions no fight but overall I like the look of the new bloke
-
cant say I am surprised Kelvin is being looked at by other teams he must be the best keeper in this league I hope he stays with us he has been different class without him we would be bottom
-
I agree it is now past the time for change you have to know when enough is enough I have been patient and got behind Jan stayed as positive as possible 1 home league win mid Jan says it all for me lack of confidence and belief and maybe we havent had the rub of the green at home but I have had enough now I want action Rupert and Jan must go if we are to unite as a club.
-
My god I hope you are right again I am really looking forward to the game and also feel that we will win and get 3 points however I am to predicting results what Lord Lowe is to football chairman in a word sh1te when I think we are goona win I am wrong and when I think we are gonna get battered I am wrong. Come on you mighty Saints FFS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would agree with that dont like to see players boo'd I want rupert out as much as anybody but you have to support the team while the game is on by all means show your feelings at the end if we have been p1ss poor. I hope we will all be talking about how we are the Brazil of the ccc and we have whacked Donny and won at home at last.I am slightly worried though last time I was all excited and predicted a great performance and 3 points was against Forest

what happened to "Surman and Lallana off as soon as window opens"
West End Saint replied to Ken Tone's topic in The Saints
Can't wait for the transfer window to shut to be honest with a centre back and full back in that's way more than I expected if we can get to the end of the month without losing anybody I will be chuffed. I just hope if that is the case and nobody leaves Jan is allowed to pick and play whoever he likes with no worries about wages appearance money However back in the real world I can't see us getting to the end of the transfer window without anyone being sold I guess as everyone knows we are skint clubs are hanging out to get our players on the cheap or even more worrying noone wants them cause they think our squad is sh1t -
I really hope we get a big passionate crowd will be disapointed if its less than 20K this game could be a defining moment this season win and we could be out of the bottom 3 I am looking forward to the game and hope everybody gives it there all fans and players COME ON YOU SAINTS FFS!

David McGoldrick - one of the top 50 rising stars?
West End Saint replied to SaintDonkey's topic in The Saints
I agree with the first bit of your post he is a decent player with potential it is just his attitude and ego in question for me. I do not agree the you can compare him in any way to MLT you could compare him to somone like Fuller good player loads of potential but very frustrating with a massive ego the sort of player you really want when they are on song and performing but hate and detest when they are not MLT is a legend and cant be compared to anyone a complete 1 off -

I have met Le Tiss a few times always a top bloke his after dinner questions and answers are always good and very honest the last time at John Crawleys benefit dinner he was asked what he thought of Rupert Lowe and said he is a f u c k i n g t w a t with no personality quality bloke I have also done a fair bit of business with David Armstrong over the years he was a director at a office stationary company and has bought a few vans from me over the years -
Doncaster_ Most important game of season?
West End Saint replied to thorpie the sinner's topic in The Saints
My Dad is from Donny and will have split loyalties on Saturday me and my family often go to Donny games went to the Johnson Trophy at Cardiff and went to Wembley to watch you beat dirty Leeds will always have a soft spot for you many a time as a kid went to watch you play opposit the Racecourse and we have been to the Keepmoat to watch you against Rotheram. However we must beat you Saturday if we are to stay up should be a good game you play decent passing football and so do we hope you enjoy your stay but go home with no points all the best. UP THE SAINTS -
Hats off to you guys I do go to a fair few away but couldnt make this 1 fair play to those that did with all the doom and gloom surounding us all the way to Barnsley in artic conditions well done UP THE SAINTS

Doncaster_ Most important game of season?
West End Saint replied to thorpie the sinner's topic in The Saints
We have to win this 1 I have been saying for sometime that this month is mega important if we can can climb out of the bottom 3 we give ourselfs a chance of staying up a massive win against Barnsley so important with Forest winning and Norwich losing we must now beat Donny and get on a bit of a run I can see Forest and Derby pulling clear a win against Donny and a point at Norwich should see us out of the bottom 3 COME ON YOU SAINTS. -
I am holding out a little bit of hope until the end of the month IF we are bottom 30 then for me it is League 1 here we come if not the great escape could be on must win two of the next three. COME ON YOU MIGHTY SAINTS FFS !
-
Go on Bridgey hope all go's well deserves to be playin regular 1st team Footy loved the celebration against the Skates all round good lad UTS!
-
This thread is brill loving your work Bin laden is classic Lowe out UTS!
-
I think the support has been pretty good seeing that we have only won 1 league game and I also think if we are still bottom 3 at the end of Jan we are going down Donny is a must win and we need a win at either Norwich or Barnsley if we can get out of the bottom 3 and drag somone else into the relegation scrap it is all to play for
-
Most teams in the Championship play 4 4 2 I dont really care what we play all I know is at the moment it is not working and we need more pressence up front and that means playing two up front I agree it is a bit simplistic to say just go 4 4 2 and everything will be ok what we need is the ability to adapt and change things when they are not working like now call it what you want but I want more fire power
-
I hope he plays I doubt he would if Patterson wasn't suspended Saga has goals in him his 1st season with us he was good I hope he has the desire and we get 3 much needed points can't say I feel that confident for a win but you never know with Saints
-
If we get relegated and go into admin with a points penalty we would have no chance of coming straight back up look how Leeds are struggling with gates of 20 to 30 k and how long the likes of Forest and sheff Weds took to get out of that league I am not suggesting we would get relegated again straight away but we would be in for some years in the wilderness for sure
-
The about finding out how tough this league is once the season started sums it all up for me the Championship is the most competative league in Europe for my money how can Jan and Wupert not know that and not be prepared for it wether the comment about Watford wanting Cork more is true or not it is fair to say we have been ill prepared and have appalling man management and Jan is not making the decision on what players play or stay it is all financial and we are f u c k e d
-
I am not really sure what to make of Saga his 1st season when playing for a contract he was great will always love him for Wolves away what a day out that was he is our player and you cant see anybody coming in for him and we desperatly need somebody to score some goals so we have got to give him a go who knows it might be inspired and save us from relegation 1 thing is sure we are not scoring with the current front two of DMG and Patterson I say play 4 4 2 with DMG and Saga it sure as sh1t cant be any worse than we are doing
-
I am by no means a gloom and doom munger at the star of the season I was worried our total football with kids wouldnt cut it in this league at 1st I thought I may be wrong fantastic performances at Derby and against Brum in the cup and i have been tooing and throwing ever since. I am now convinced that my 1st gut feeling was right this is not working the lads have had the confidence kicked out of them such a shame cause some of them might make decent players we have no MEN LEADERS FIGHTERS and we go out expecting to get beat if we are bottom 3 at the end of this month we are going down we need 7 to 9 points out of the next 3 games but I cannot see it happening. PLEASE PLEASE prove me wrong COYR
-
I still love my team and I still love going to Footy with my Dad Brother and Nephew I want to renew even if we go down but next season the decision will be financial if I can afford it and it is cheap enough to justify the division we are in then I will renew. Dont get me wrong I hate Lowe and have come to the end of my tether the way we are playing 1 league win all season is not entertainment or value for money but change must be round the corner 1 way or another via administration or buy out and my club will need my support and if I can afford it I will be there UTS!
