West End Saint

Been supporting Saints 1974 my Dad started taking me when I was 7 I just loved going to football my Dad still comes with us now home & away and despite the sh1te we are in at the moment we still love going football even these last couple of seasons we have had some great days out Wolves away Derby play offs Sheff utd last game of the season and lots lots more. For us it is a day out with the lads we enjoy the banter and make a day of it it is so much better when we win but even when we dont it is better than going shopping. UTS

Interesting question this has been a tough year for me I work in the motor trade enough said I have had a season ticket since we have been at St Marys and I wouldnt want to give it up even if we are in league 1. I will have a tough decision to make but I think they will need to reduce it would hope it will be under £300 then I will just about be able to justify it. Lowe out

I think you have to accept that things are over for this season I have thought for ages if we are bottom 3 at the end of Jan & we were & I now accept that in likely hood we are going down. It has happened to bigger clubs than us who knows we might do a Leicester can't see that though as we will be in turmoil/admin but you never know. In the car on the way home last nite we were talking about a league and cup double Johnstons Paint Trophy (to much beer methinks) I just hope that when it happens the club have sorted its self out Lowe Wild and Wotte have fecked off and we have a chairman manager team and supporters pulling in the same direction. I would like to see my team winning games pushing for promotion entertaining me scoring goals I want football to be fun again will it be next season in league 1 ? I hope so ! Gutted where was the fight ? we where out thought and out fought all over the pitch we deserved to lose no question. Well done to those that organised the protest and well done to those that turned up it was good. Thanks to all that bought our Badges it was me my Dad Brother and Nephew that was selling them my Brother had 250 made and we sold out by the time we left the Bargate. I went to the game at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea and we got hammered Swansea looked a class act and the score could have been 6 nil I dont think we had a proper shot on goal. so I am thinking that we will lose by 2 goals but I am utter gash at predictions so now I have said that we will probably win. I have got to the stage where I expect us to lose and have almost accepted relegation so anything else will be a bonus. I will be there cheering the boys on during the game before the game and after I will be protesting with the best of them. Southampton till I die UTS Lowe out !

Lallana is a fantastic talent and a good prospect but at the moment I think his place is on the bench coming on and making a impact his final ball and shooting have been a big disapointment also he tends to wander all over looking for the ball leaving us short when defending his time will come but not in the midst of a relegation battle

I was not convinced that Saga coming back would make that much difference last season wasnt his best but I thought against Donny he showed power passion desire and a great work ethic I was surprised he didnt start last nite we could do with a few more showing his sense of urgency and commitment a great example to the younger players well done Saga UTS

I would agree with you he is by far the best winger we have got and has the talent to improve defenders do not like players with genuine pace and Dyer has that cannot understand after getting him to sign a new contract sending him out on loan mental get him back and get him playing he may be a thieving little gobsh1te but he is our thieving little gobsh1te GET HIM BACK

I think we are still desperate to sell and a lot of business gets done at the 11th hour this month I would not be surprised to see 1 or 2 go but our prized assetts are not as highly regarded as we thought no bidding wars for our players so if they go it will be at knock down money which is a shame.

If he can keep us up I for 1 will admit I am wrong and give the guy a chance I can't see it happening and I hope I have to have a large slice of humble pie to stay up we need a drastic change in results and it will be a big achievement and he will deserve our support next season. UTS

I think the fans have been behind the team I have been to all the home games and a few away and think the support has been excellent only at the Donny game did it turn ugly and even then it was not directed at the team with only 1 win at home the support has been good. I do agree that protest and chants against the board should be before & after the game even at half time if you want when the lads are playing get behind them they need all the support they can get. Also if you want change get behind the protest and show your support I will be there Lowe Out UTS

I have to say I think we will go down this season I was shocked last season we ended up in a scrap at the bottom with the players we had I thought this season would be a struggle but we would survive lower mid table the really annoying thing is with the talent we have got we should be doing a lot better there are worse squads than ours in this league we are not getting the best out of our players and that is a crying shame. I also find it hard to swallow that we have made the same mistake two seasons running by not having a decent settled back four you have to build a side from there we have the best keeper in the league and the second worse goal difference says it all really.

Fair play to Kelvin he has had his critics when he 1st joined and took some stick some deserved some not but this season he has been class we could do with a few more with a bit fight and playing for the shirt for me he is our player of the season already. UTS

I think yes to both questions I have been saying for ages that if we are bottom 3 by the end of this month I expect us to go down I know it is not over by a long way but that is my gut feeling. If we go down and no new investment comes in i expect us to go into administration with reduced money from the league and reduced gates it has to happen. I hope I am wrong
