West End Saint

Me to how about Papa Bouba Diop (not spelt right) he his a huge unit who can play a bit got a hell of a shot on him great in the air but probably not interested in playing in our league though

I think we need 3 or 4 more signings a big F-off centre back Jahdi would be ace a experienced centre midfielder with a bit of craft and bite I know i am dreaming but Papa Bouba Diop would be good and a couple of pacey frontman 1 wide and 1 to play off Lambert a couple of real speed merchants as we do have a lack of pace in the squad. If we where to get that and only lose 1 off Saga or Raza if think we would have a great side in this league.

I tend to agree with you I get the feeling for the 1st time in years we are all pulling in the same direction positive clear leadership from the men upstairs AP seems to know what needs to be done and is getting the resources to achieve it and the fans are behind the whole club very early days but I havent felt this optimistic for ages come Saints keep it up

I am having a few tonight what a signing and for big money in this league love the fact there was no leaks and it is out of the blue the club have done very well to get him I am begining to love being a Saint again if we can pull off 1 or 2 more a big centre back and a midfielder with a bit of craft the future is bright in red & white get in COYR

I would agree with all of that also thought Thomas had a good game the team seem much better organised than last season a performance worthy of the shirt 1st half but we did run out of steam second half 2 or 3 signings and if we can hang on to all that played Saturday and I am optimistic for the season I really enjoyed the game we looked solid well done AP also thought full backs were ace Murty and Harding look very good signings

Good shout I thought he wanted to stay I thought he was a good ccc player and would do a great job for us he knows most of the team and we know what we would be getting good signing for my money

Can I have a foot in both camps I would like to be calm and confident but i am pooing my pants that the squad we have got isnt up to making the great start we need. No it's alright I am calm and confident all will be well again

Millwall looked a good side in the play off semi final with lots of pace & power but at the start of the season anything can happen you would have to say on current squads they are favourites but who knows we might get 2 or 3 players in I think I would settle for a draw a win would be great with the 10 point deduction we could really do with a good start I am looking forward to it

I will be a happy man if we get him just the sort of physical lump we have been missing when ever I have seen him play I have been impressed come AP make it happen if we can get a goal scoring big lump up front and someone else with a bit of pace we are on the right track UTS

What a day out Forest away big support non stop singing even though we got thumped and where all ready relegated proud to be a Saint

I didnt rate him that highly but agree about his pace we have no pace in our squad and he was worth a punt as a squad player I hope AP has some players with a bit of zip about them lined up or any players for that matter come on AP sign SOMEBODY PLEASE

We must get some pace and power into the squad last season it was boys v men in many games and this league is a lot rougher and tougher we have to have some pace power and fight and we dont have that in our squad at the moment we need some new faces.

WGS for Defo he would be the man he would have us fit and strong and playing as a team he would be the man to get us out of league 1 I would so happy if we get Strachan

I have been out of the loop recovering from a op anyone know if it is the Swiss we are doing the deal and do we know anything about them and there plans to take the club forward have to say that it sounds positive we must be due some good news

What a day really proud to be a Saint the team might not be up to the job but the fans certainly are if only the players could show the same amount of passion and commitment dont think I have ever seen the away fans get a standing ovation from the home crowd and fair play to the Forest fans for doing it Saints fans where class just had a party for 90mins when it could have been a wake well done to everyone that was there everyone was signing for almost the hole game I salute you and enjoyed the day despite some very heavey handed stewarding and policing well over the top imo. Despite the S H I T T Y season I have had some good times this season especialy away and Sunday was the best hope to see you all away in league 1 next season. UTS

6 of us in our group will be renewing I am already looking forward it to this season hasnt finished and I am wishing away the summer cant wait for the 8th of August

I have to agree with you despite 1 or 2 off games Drew has been a excellent player for us I will be sorry to see him go I think the lad has talent and has been 1 of our best outfield players good luck to him I wish we can have him next season

I agree in a way i guess many of us would never have visited a lot of these grounds amazing that chances are there will be 4 ex Prem teams in League 1 so we are not alone I think with the 10 point deduction it will be harder than many people think will depend a great deal on what squad we have available but I am looking forward to it no point crying now I hate the summer cant wait for August the 8th COYR

I have a ticket and I am going last game of the season is tradition I am going to have a few beers and reflect on the glory years in the ccc. Next season I shall invest in a sat nav so i can find my way to the S H I T holes of league 1. I am going to look at it as a adventure and go to a number of grounds I otherwise wouldnt get to see the joys of being a Saint are endless

Got to say I am a bit dissapointed I know it has been a S H I T E season but where are all the people that went to the Man U game where are all the people that applied for Cup Final tickets where are all the people that came when were in the prem. We have to accept they we have 15 to 17 K loyal every game supporters going upto £25000 fans the rest are not really fans or supporters they must come to see whoever we are playing. It will be a crying shame if it is not a sell out in our hour of need maybe Southampton isnt the town I thought it was. See the vast majority that post on here at St Mary's UTS

Well done Nigel Pearson Such a shame that Ruperts ego would not allow a Crouch appointment to stay in the job when he obviously had the ability to keep us in the Championship as far as I am concerned I was gutted when he left he would have kept us up and had the Balls to stand up to Rupert on playing matters the sad sad thing is with him in charge and the squad we have got I feel sure we would have done ok that is what hurts the most we had enough quality to stay up

Good post you are right the support at Watford and at home to Palace shows that this club is well worth saving most Championship sides and some Prem would love to have a fan base like ours we are indeed in dark days but I am sure the future is bright in Red & White UTS
