Good away following this season I have always been impressed with the numbers that went sometimes the atmosphere generated could have been better.There have been great atmosphere's Orient Bristol Rovers and Southend stand out but some bad as well Brighton & Wycombe stand out. I was chatting to some Saints fans at Gillingham that have done every away game this season which is a fantastic effort fair play to them my Brother did everyone bar Exeter I wonder how many Saints did them all ?

I would nearly agree with this but I would have Lambo & Crouch up front and add Surman to the bench

The JPT for me I can remember last summer chatting with my mates saying that we would have a chance of winning it and we did. Went to every game in the JPT and it provided some great memory's Papa's goal v Norwich mental, a great away day at MK Dons and watching the boys win 4 1 at Wembley and lift a trophy with 50,000 + Saints quality.

Best Bristol Rovers 5 1 mates birthday went out after top nite out cup was good there as well were the dry/side wet side ect Southend 3 1 in the p1ssing rain great turn out mid week cracking support Orient for the come back numbers of Saints fans and great atmosphere special mention Gillingham what a way to finish away footy good sing song on the way home. Worst Brighton couldnt see a thing rubbish Wycombe just sh1te Colchester sh1te freezing & in the middle of nowhere Had a blast away this season really enjoyed it looking forward to next season

Good post can't believe the season is nearly over it has flashed by and I have loved every minute of it, what a refreshing change to the season before with relegation & admin. Been to a lot of new grounds this season and had a ball Southend 3.1 in the p1ssing rain Bristol twice and Orient stand out, also been impressed with the numbers that have been away this season. At home we have been quality scoring 5 twice playing good football and winning how good did that feel loved it. The JPT did every game in the JPT to come from 2 down 1st round V Torquay to a fantastic day out with 50,000 Saints was ace and the trophy get in. All in all very happy and content to be a Saint bring on next season can't wait COYS

Good game could have been 6 2 don't know what the possesion stats were but we had so much of the ball second half 3 2 dosent tell the full story. Lambo what a player what a finish, love the way this guy leads the line the way he gets his self into a posistion to win a header from a long ball quality. Proper old school goal scoring centre forward with a good touch & vision fantastic signing. Antonio how much has he improved saw his 1st game for us V Torquay in the JPT couldnt trap a bag of cement his 2nd touch was a header but loads of pace & power. I really hope we sign him the lad could develope into a very good player MOM. Papa worth keeping I think he dosent know what he is going to do let alone the defenders scored some important goals this season. The rest of the team played well Fonte is class Semi was better but still think we need a right back. What a season really really enjoyed it well done to Pards & the team you have been excellent. Spot on you have to give it to Lambo he has been immense Harding Lallana have also been great with Morgan & Fonte just behind. Just 2 or 3 signings at Right Back and Centre Midfield hang onto the 1st team players and we will have a fantastic team next season cant wait.

Who in there right mind is going to buy them ? I thought we were an attractive club to buy and it went to the wire luckily it turned out for the best, but what have Pompey got to offer ? I can see them going into next season with more points deductions and we all know how competative the CCC is they may well struggle. What date do they have to find a buyer by before there a more points deductions etc ?

If you look at our form since Jan you have to believe we can win this league if we can keep our top players and manager we should win it. We need to stay stable and bring in 2 or 3 quality signings at centre mid & right back & ship out the dross. A good pre season level playing field and we have the team and manager to become champions of this league. I have been chatting to quite a few fans of other league 1 clubs and they consistently say we are the best side they have played this season.There will be a lot of expectation on us next season as the rest of the league think we will win it. Anything less than promotion next season is failure we have done very well this season as well as can be expected next season we have no escuse

Morgan is quality we will do well to hang onto him he can clearly play at a higher level. We lack decent/quality cover in centre mid and we need a quality right back if we can bring people in for these positions and can hang onto the rest of the team we are going up.

Gutted but as others have said what a season what a ride I have loved it. Fair play to Oldham they defended really well right back was outstanding but really defended as a team. We just didnt get the drop of the ball in the box, cant fault our players for effort they gave it a go just 1 of those days. Fonte what a player he is mom for me we had a few that were not at there best tonight we looked tired I guess 10 men saturday took it's toll. We need to keep this team together for next season strengthen in centre mid and at right back and we should be good enough to win it. I would like to see Antonio And Papa signed both can come on and change a game and would be a assett to our squad. Antonio gives us power and pace and will get better & Papa gives pace and a good goals to games ratio lets have them both.

Agree with op what a season I am loving it. Away days like Orient, Bristol, Southend, MK Dons brilliant after the away days of last season how good is it to see us win away. Home games Walsall, Hudders, Skates, MK Dons we have played well at St Marys this season in most games. Wembley what a day fantastic to see the Saints win a trophy fantastic day out. We have a very good attacking side how good is it to see Lallana, Spiderman, Lambo, Puncheon ripping into teams and playing nice football ? AP is doing a top job and I am enjoying the ride UTS
