Nige got it spot on I thought Punch did well we would be mad not to keep him here decent player at this level Morgan had a great game nice to see him getting back to his best Lallana was great as per he & morgan are the most gifted players we have & they have a great understanding of each others game they take the ball under pressure and have great composure. Nice to see we can change our formation & play well some great passing & movement well done Saints

Great result top away day very impressed how we battled on the worst pitch I have seen for a very long time it was narrow boggy & bumpy very hard to get the ball under control. 1 of those games that you have to win the right to play we had to dig in & fight Fonte was class Hammond did well as did chappers he is quality. There keeper was funny fair play to him 3 good goals Lambo's finish was top draw and great feet from Guly for his goal, Lallana must be the best player in the league. Good atmosphere enjoyed the day out COYS

Fantastic signing well done Saints Chappers makes MS & DH look better players when he is in the side he has great energy gets forward well & wins the ball very good player and should start most games. Great start to the transfer window looking forward to some more additions & more importantly hanging on to our best players

It is all to play for we have stuttered a bit havent found really convincing form but we are in the mix we have the squad to win this league if we cant get a run of wins going and our top players hit form & stay fit we are in with a great chance of promotion. We have been wastefull in front of goal this season in the games we have lost & drawn we have missed loads of chances if Lambo hits form & Barney gets back in the side & scoring we will take some stopping but we must be more clinical & take our chances. I like NA think he is doing well I just want to see us go on a really good run so I feel convinced we are the team we should be even after the win against Udders I am still not 100% confident we will back the result up by beating Exeter & Daggers if we do I am going to start believing this will be the season we had all hoped for.

You are right if we dont go up NC will sack Adkins we have the squad I guess we are the Man City of league1 and NC expects results not excusses fair enough but if we are building a club with a playing style & going to make the best of our excellent academy we need some stability & long term management. I really hope this turns out to be a pointless thread we get promotion & then Adkins will have the time to affect the club buy some players of his choosing for the stsbility & growth of our club we have to get promoted or we will be starting from scratch again.

I would hate to see us get rid of NA I didnt want Pardew to be sacked I thought he was doing ok I like NA & think that he will be a good manager for us but I get the feeling if we dont go up he will be sacked. NC seems to be the sort of man who gives you a objective & if you dont get there you are gone that might be ok in the world of business but I dont think it is the way to go in football. It is time we put our faith in the manager & give him enough time to do the job the best managers have the long term backing of there clubs Ferguson Wenger Moyes ect hire & fire is not the way to build a club. Fair enough we have the squad to get promoted & if we dont it will be a massive disappointment & a failure but does that justify keep changing the manager.I hope we dont have to face that problem and we get promotion it is still very much withinour grasp and in our hands for a number of reasons it is vital we go up if we are going to move forward as a club.

Even in games we have won we have missed lots of chances Peterboro for example we need to be more clinical in front of goal had Guly's header gone in Saturday it would have been a different game if we could of scored 1st half V Brighton different game. Just goes to show how important it is to get Lambo back to his best we will need him or someone else to step up and score 20+ goals if we are going up this season. We seem to have all the play & possesion early in games but if the goal doesent come when we are on top we run out of idea's and energy we need to finish the chances we create.How many teams have we played that create only 1 or 2 chances but take them as the stats show we create chance after chance & dont score enough goals

I have not been a doom & gloom merchant but even as a happy clapper I was very disapointed with that performance as NA said goals do change games & how there keeper saved that header from Guly I just dont know but after that we were poor all over the park. I think Morgan is a quality player but he was gash Saturday Hammond ditto we really missed chappers energy what was up with Lambo even his body language was poor still not convinced by Guly & Chambo & Lallana very quiet. Kevin had a mare and the back four were static every player below par no energy no fight no desire not good enough we are going to struggle to make the play offs if we play like that to many times after the poor start we had we need to go on a run & soon Fair play to Brentford they came with a plan stuck to it & worked very hard to shut us down & deny us time & space it seems teams in this league can suss us out and we have got nobody to come on & change things

Fair play to NC very good positive interview said all the right things I havent always agreed with NC but I think he is a man that will get things done. I like what he has to say the team & NA need to deliver promotion they know what they have to do sounds like we will see some new faces in Jan to bolster the promotion push. Come on Saints lets win this league !

Agreed the more obscure the place & the more horrible the weather the better I remember Southend last season 4 Trains to get there monsoon rain Saints win 3 1 1400 Saints going mental having a ball. I hope the Hartlepool game is off cant make Saturday we could do with a week off so our injured players can get fit again

I agree he has the qualities to be a top player great touch and control he & Lallana are technically our best players he is still learning & will have been brought up playing a slower game in France. At the moment his positional sense isnt good enough he can go missing and be caught out of position he also neede shaking up he was to sure of his place Chaplow makes him look a better player and he can learn a lot from him. There is no doubt he is a proper player and we will do well to hang on to him he has time on his side and could go on to be a very important player for us.

His class will tell the last few league games he has played well leading the line and linking the play and has been unlucky not to score he will find his goal scoring boots and when he does it is happy days for us. Yes he has been going through a barren spell and 1 problem I have noticed is once he has linked the play he hasnt been gettig into the box quick enough but I remain confident he will get on the scoresheet soon & then go on a run the goals will come. If Lambo finds form and we continue to play well the timing could just be right for us the league is wide open & we are just outside the mix this could still be our year

I dont understand the negativity looks like a decent draw to me Blackpool play nice attacking football will probably rest 1 or 2 as the league is the be all & end all for them. We have nothing to lose could be a good game and 1 that we can win

I enjoyed the game despite the cold 2nd half we were good & could have scored 5 or 6 (we do need to be more clinical) Lallana plays a different game to everyone else his 1st touch, skill & control are amazing what a player I know the opposition werent up to much but Adam was brilliant motm match by miles. I am starting to think Guly could be a player 2nd half playing attacking midfield he looked good saw a lot of the ball patchy in places but in there somewhere is a good player. Job done keeps our home form going I hope the injuries dont cost us brong on Blackpool UTS

We need to play a decent team and win the game not that bothered about the FA Cup but important to maintain our home form would be nice to see Lambo score from open play all he needs is a couple of goals. I think he may rest 1 or 2 but I hope we get the win defo dont want a draw the league is be all & end all this season we have to get promoted this season or we will lose our best players our only hope of getting Lallana to sign is to go up.

6 out of 10 for me I really thought we would storm it after the way we finished last season so disappointed to be 7th dont think we have hit top form yet but I like NA and feel/hope that he will get us where we need to be. I do think we would have more points if we appointed a manager sooner than we did or stuck with Pards it has taken some time to get back on track but that 7 game run without a manager may cost us come May. The time to hit form is the 2nd half of the season teams like Brighton & Bournemouth will do well to mantain there form till May with there squads we however havent hit top form yet and providing we do we have the squad to mantain our run it could still turn out to be a great season if we can get into top gear. Will be interesting to see what happens in Jan who comes in & who goes out we have the team to get out of this league & whilst I have enjoyed League 1 we need promotion to push on COME ON YOU SAINTS

I agree some of his link up play over the couple of games has been awsome he is fitter than he was a few games ago and will continue to get fitter he has not had much luck in front of goal but it will come form is temporary class is permanent

Jury is still out for me he has had a lot more poor games than good but the good v Tranmere was very good he shows some good touches and could well be a decent player but when he is bad he is awful. Should have had a hatrick Saturday it didnt matter in the end but you have got to take your chances he didnt look good last nite

Hammond had a great game and fair play to him in some games this season he was well below par but it looks like he is getting his form back Chaplow has made a big difference love his engergy and tackling they make a good pairing hope we sign him in Jan. Shame that Morgans form has dipped and he is rightly being left out of the side hope he buckles down to try and force his way back in he is a very talented player but maybe he was too sure of his place & let standards drop hope NA can keep them all happy we need 3 very good players at centre mid all pushing for places. Great cross by Hammaond for Chaplows goal, it is a long season and a squad game we are going to need all 3 of them over the rest of the season shame it didnt work playing all 3 of them in a 4 3 3 maybe with Barnard getting injured NA will give it another go

I have been having a chat with a mate who is a Peterboro supporter he goes to all there games he said they cannot defend at all and he is predicting that we smash them. He says they are very good going forward but woefull at the back lots of discontent after recent results they had there lowest attendance since Adam was a lad mid week lots of ther fans very unhappy calling for wholesale changes starting with the manager. Now I know after he has said all that we will go & f*ck it up but his words were every time a team attacks they conceed a goal and if we have anything about us going forward we will win comfortably. so it will probably be 0 0 but I am hoping 4 2 to the Mighty Saints Lambo Lallana & chappers to score come on you Saints massive couple of games win them both & we are well in the hunt for promotion.

Lambo is a goal scorer he will come good as the season progresses he does a lot of good things wins the headers holds the ball up links the play yes he is off form & not upto last seasons standard but he is a threat he has been a yard short but as he gets fitter the chances and goals will come I still believe he will get 20 + this season
